Hello, 2013!

Thank you P_mod and Dwam for this wonderful experience. And thank, Rise Tattoo Magazine! My first tattoo magazine cover is an excellent way to start the New Year

Me and a whole lot of other babes can grace the likes of your coffee table, nightstand, etc through HERE. I just purchased myself a copy, so my next blog might contain a glimpse of what's inside. How exciting!

Now to smoothly transition from a recent purchase... I now have two jobs. Both are part time, but after doing the math, I'm now working the hours I need to pay all of my bills and still have time to write. And speaking of writing, I mentioned in my last blog that I was participating in an event called Pitch-A-Palooza. Well, the results are in, and editors are requesting to see manuscripts of a small handful of my pitches. Considering I'm such a newb to all of this, it was really exciting to see my name show up a handful of times on that final list. Messages from other writers have trickled in, congratulating me on my successful outcome --such a wonderful group of people! Cheesy as it may sound, Bizarro Fiction saved my life. True story. I have a writer's association meeting tomorrow night, and I promised my editor I would have a manuscript to him by the end of this week. Shit is getting hella busy up in here!

Other news: I went to LA.
The time went by way too fucking fast, and I never seemed to find the time to hang out with everyone I would've liked to. C'est la vie. I guess this means I just need to visit more often

My grandma got a little camera shy and kept trying to dodge my aunt's camera.

My favorite photo of my grandmother and me. She kept yelling at my aunt to take the photo from that angle because she "didn't want to look like yoda." I love that woman.

I am waiting on a set by Dwam. I know I have said this before, but I think that this one might be my best set to date! I can't wait to share it with you all! Also, when it gets closer to being viewed by everyone, I'll probably be looking to take things down from MR if they haven't budged. I love both of those sets, but I feel bad taking up so much space in MR. Here's to hoping that staff picks them up though!
