I escaped the rain, and felt the sunshine toast my pallor to an almost acceptable ultra-pale human hue. It was a miracle I didn't catch on fire

Anyway, instead of gambling, I insisted on kicking ass at Galaga. When I finally attempted to gamble, I followed my inner-nerd, and managed to make enough money to cover the whole cost of my trip (plus a little more) on a penny Lord of the Rings slot machine.

Things I learned on this trip: bags of french fries are the best cuddle buddies, nascar aficionados don't seem to be too savvy with talking to/approaching tattooed ladies, and really old men are the most adorable flirts. Oh! And always try to make friends with the person sitting next to you on the plane - it really makes the flight much more interesting.

So, Black Lodge went into member review on a friday night. From what I hear, Friday is typically when a lot of people are out doing something called "being social." Considering the comment count on the set, I wouldn't have guessed that. So SG community, I thank you for your support. You are the best!
