I just got back into Chicago on Friday morning. My flight was suppose to be on Thursday but since I was flying Standby I wasn't able to make it on the full flight so I was bumped to Friday morning at 6 am!!! So effin' early for me.
I almost didn't make that flight either...after boarding everyone they had 5 people left waiting for standby. After doing a seat check they had 4 seats available and since 2 of the 5 people waiting were together they said they'd wait for the next flight so I just barely made it on. Yay!!
JustLostOne picked me up from Midway airport at 9am then we got back to the apartment and slept till 3pm, got some lunch, and I went to work from 5 till midnight.
Yesterday, we woke up around 11 and rushed around cleaning the house because my Dad and Sister flew in at 3pm to stay here for a week. We went and picked them up from O'hare airport, which is the biggest, most confusing airport I've EVER been to!!! Took them to Portillo's for a hot dog, then I had to go straight to work AGAIN till midnight.
I've been on a constant rush since getting back to Chicago, but today will be a fun day hopefully. My dad wants to try to go see the Cubs game today so he's looking around for tickets, he tried getting some online last night but I guess the purchase didn't go through...some error with the service. Ugh. But if we don't make it to the game we'll probably end up doing something else fun. Possibly a architect tour or Navy Pier.

Colorado was an awesome time! I have a ton of pictures to post but I still need to load them all up so I'll do that once I get them all.

didnt you just watch the cubs game?! Also you need to get online earlier damn you woman!!! Either that or i need to put my phone on loud so i hear it at 8am because we need to e-hang out.
HAHAHA i never said i didnt like lilly allen's music i just dont think we would get along very well

The O'hare airport does suck! I've been there once, its sooo huge! I've gone to a few events near there at one of the Hyatts; the one the Rosemount Convention Center is connected to. fun stuff.
Glad you're having a blast! It's always great when family or friends are around and you do a bunch of crazy stuff rushing from one to the next! that's what it's been like for me too lately...

the architectural boat tour is so cool! my dad wanted to do that when they visited. it was really fun AND they have a bar
