first off this video gave me shivers, then it made me feel warm fuzzies & now it just makes me smile ear to ear...
i love music so much, its just so mesmerizing watching a group of kids so comfortable and creative to sing their hearts out, watching how some of them are so freaking into it, feeling it, loving it...
just straight killing it.
this video made me appreciate all the amazing teachers & masters i have been blessed with in my lifetime, i will never forget mrs.baker... my band teacher who always pushed me to try harder no matter what and to most importantly be myself.
music//arts//physical education are very important courses and should not get cut due to funding, do not sit idly by and let them strip children of such important aspects, we need these facets to express ourselves. a world without art is no world at all. our children are the keys to our future.
i finally got around to cutting my hair.
it felt real good to get it done.
funny how we can be with our hair
also going to LA march 5th for the weekend.
thats all i feel like sharing right now.
mini blog to the max.
also news im excited for, finally moving into my place.
no more hip hopping couch surfing guest at my friends
but im so grateful with all the help and hospitality
its important to have your own place on so many levels
other great news. olympics are almost over.
so finished with the hallow crowd getting drunk for no reason
& making real life complicated like transport
edit: Thank you everyone for your love & genuine comments you've left me, some people let me know that this video brought a few tears or fuzzy feelings... when i had joined university & signed up for film courses, that was why... provoking and moving your audience... its so amazing how powerful a video can be.
Cherry & i put put so many hours into this three minute video ... every scene i had imagined in my mind happened so effortlessly... to share an idea with someone else, then to see it build and grow into the physical world in the end to share it with so many others... thats just super beautiful. also this video happened with help from some good friends, you know who you are & thanks for helping us out!!
if you are moved / enjoyed / delighted or for that matter have anything you'd like to say regarding the video please feel free to leave your input here!!!
thank you Cherry for believing in my vision, it was a sheer pleasure to work with you.
Thanks to everyone for their kind words on Break In....
Good things happen to those who wait, I've been a firm believer that good energy will bring on good energy & it's so important to stand up for what you believe in: may it be creative merit, human rights, respect etc etc.
I know that the set had so much outside help to make it happen and having that support from so many beautiful people that I have been blessed to meet through this site... Meshell for giving me a roof over my head, feeding me meals, showing me around this wonderful city, S_eldorado for the location & the same reasons listed under Meshell, Malloreigh for bringing additional props, the cameo, input & assisting Cherry thru the shoot...Phoenix for the most beautiful piece of art for us thieves to heist... and Cherry for taking the time to shoot, direct, work with my vision & making it a reality. It was really refreshing to be creative with such inspiring people & bouncing back ideas until the final project came out...
Then of course all of the suicidegirls, staff & members who supported the set from the moment it was put into review! Without your input, criticism, comments & loved it... it may have never gone up, you guys helped make it happen! It's very important to take the simple two seconds to jot down something positive on the sets you love, a lot of the models & photographers put so much heart, time & effort to make these sets to happen! Show your love!!!
Enough of me being a mushy gooey ball of gouda cheese...
Actually thats a huge lie, here's more ooey gooey goodness but not related.
Finally moved to vancouver, life is amazing! surrounded by my favorite people in the world who believe in me, getting two dream jobs, completing my yoga instructor course... cooking fresh & from scratch, being inspired by all the beauty that surrounds me... getting to hang out with some of the most attractive women i've met thru suicidegirls that all have such intriguing lives...
Like going to a Cupcake Throw Down where the one and only Pirate took first place...
Cherry, S_Eldorado & I snapped pics thru the night, sadly i need to get my macbook looked at this saturday before i can even install my canon discs in order to upload my whole vancouver journey thus far... here's some that Cherry took of me, trying to show off my lady skills on how to "gracefully" eat mini cupcakes without getting your lady gloves dirty...
