Dyed my hair (again)...

Grew some potted squirrels...

Built a fence...

Grilled ALL THE THINGS!...

Made a custom necklace design for a blog give-away (for my etsy shop)...

Bought myself a dress...(which I'm overly excited about because I rarely buy myself things)

I also bought myself a vintage purse. My old one was falling apart....I feel spoiled.
Also, one day I want to be as badass as jaqen h'ghar. That is all.

XOXOXO!
I cannot stop eating cinnamon rolls. I need help.

I blame Skyrim. I had to recreate sweet rolls after a particularly long binge of gameplay.....why does cartoon/animated food look so damn yummy?
I made hazlenut icing for them and they are deadly good.

Butters also likes to get his game on.
How was your Valentine's Day? Mine was good. Homemade dinner and cookies....chocolates and presents....a Firefly marathon and video games.
My gifts where handmade (as usual for V-day). I made the husband a robot (& cookies)....

He gave me the perfect tee shirt...

Hail Sithis.
Speaking of tee shirts, they are awesome. They have gone underappreciated in my life until now.
These guys make some interesting designs. I own 2 and they are really soft....

Been working on lots of jewelry for my shop. I snapped this photo of some bottle pendants in progress...

The tiny spines are new.
Oh....."like" my Facebook page if you want updates. I try to update it often.
I hope you all have a good weekend....mine will be full of painting walls and hanging light fixtures.
And probably cinnamon rolls.
XoXo!

Nothing too fancy this year....just doing bunny ears/tail and vampire fangs. If you get the reference, you get 100 awesome points.*
*Points are redeemable at my house, but you must bring cookies to get in the front door. Then doggie treats to appease the tiny, man eating chupacabra known as Butters....
Your prize is the 5 lbs. bag of caramel corn my dad bought me from a boy scout....it is sitting on the counter....judging me.
In other news, I just finished watching the last season of Breaking Bad. I had a bit of a marathon and watched all 4 seasons in the last month or so. That show is freaking intense but soooo good.
And the season 4 finale? WTF? Does that mean? But how could he? Gah! ![]()
I recommend a Breaking Bad marathon....then watch a few episode of Malcolm in the Middle...![]()
I love that guy.
I've been bust with my Etsy Shop (as usual) ![]()
New photos and new jewelry!

My body is so sore from moving, but I am super happy. Still close enough to downtown, but REALLY private with tall cedar trees. I can make all the noise I want! It's an older house, but it's perfect.
I need to sleep for a week.
Also.....check out this youtube video a customer made reviewing my shop!
Lol! Awesome.
It makes me ridiculously happy to hear nice things about my work.
Fall is coming. Bring it on, favorite season! Pumpkin muffins must be made.
XoXo!
Here's what I made...it's tiny:
Preserved Human Heart in a Jar Necklace

The entire bottle is about 1 1/2 inches long, so it was pretty challenging getting the detail the way I wanted and everything, I'm pretty satisfied with it.

I took some photos for a guy who makes synthetic hair extensions dyed to look like rooster feathers. They are a good cruelty free alternative if you like that look...

sold here.
And I made a appointment to get tattooed next Sunday. Excited!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
xoxo!

I've been busy doing everything and nothing....the sun is starting to show itself a little finally. I'm normally not a huge fan of the sun, but this year has seemed so unusually gray and wet, I'm actually welcoming it.
My siblings have been driving me fucking crazy lately. I keep realizing more and more that life is too short to spend the majority of it trying to please people who cannot ever be pleased, and will never be grateful. Bleh. I don't owe them anything just because they are supposedly "family". /rant.
But hey, True Blood is back!

I'm really enjoying this season so far....even with Bill's new hair.
And now, super random slightly boring picture time!
Butters hoards pillows....
I cut my own hair (again)....
Nothing too drastic, just added layers. I haven't colored it in months and it's weird to see so much of my natural color.
I have been spending a lot of time at home making food, and taking pictures of the things I decorate my shelves with. I am in serious need of a large curio cabinet.
Food...
Things I surround myself with....
I started selling my jewelry here in downtown Portland at a shop in Pioneer Place. The commission is crazy high, but it is a nice store, and it's cool to have my own little display there. The owner was pleasantly surprised to see that there are a lot of people around here who like strange things as much as I do. Last time I dropped of more stuff, she said "who would have thought so many people would get so excited about a little bottle of poison or clay bones!?!" Hehe ![]()
I've been working on a lot of new stuff (as usual), including something I had to create a model for so I could have it printed on a 3D printer! I'm excited about it and I hope it turns out well. It is my first time doing anything like that, so I'm hoping I did okay. Yay technology!
My Etsy shop - in case you want to see what else I've been working on. ![]()
Some pics of recently finished items....
Time for a nap to try and relieve this massive headache.....
I hope you all are doing well and enjoying your summer!
xoxo!

Well, good afternoon anyway. ![]()
ps.... join the Vampires group! ![]()
And check out the Etsy group. ![]()
Hmm, what's new?
I just finished this portrait of Edgar Allen Poe....

(graphite and colored pencil)
I think it turned out all right. I have never been any good at drawing or painting people, let alone a person that needs to resemble someone who actually lived. He turned out a little like Einstein and Tim Burton's love child! Hopefully he is still recognizable though.
I am going to frame and sell prints as well as Poe themed necklaces in my Etsy shop. I have been enameling brass bird wings black, and making tiny laudanum bottles to accompany the portrait on the necklaces.
It's hard to believe it is the end of April already. It is freezing today.
Butters is staying warm in his sweater that Giggles made:

She makes great crocheted stuff! Check it out.
I vended my wares at an event for the first time last month. The PDX Vampire Masquerade Ball! It went really well.....it was pretty amazing hearing so many nice things about my jewelry.
Here is my hubby and I:

(That was after about 8 hrs there.....I was tired and my hair was flat.
My table....

It looked messier than I would have liked, but it was my first time.
I became very aware of the fact that I normally don't have a very inviting look on my face and that needed to change. I had to keep reminding myself that I wanted to be approached and socialize, and to wipe that pissed off look from my face!
It was an incredibly well done event though, and if you are into vampires, dressing up, great food, drinks, awesome music, and fancy decor....you need to go to this thing at least once. I wish I would have had time to take more pictures!
Time to finish my coffee and get some work done...
I hope everyone is having a great Spring!

I drank a 5 hour energy a while ago and am still tired, I swear I have an immunity to caffeine.
Regardless of that, I still love coffee......so much so that this was recently gifted to me:

He sits on my xbox.
It snowed here. It was the strangest texture. Like a mixture of styrofoam and cotton......but frozen. It was pretty, but it didn't stick around long. I did go out and take some pics with my little point and shoot camera...

I like how silent it gets when it snows. Even in the city, everything seems suddenly muffled......until you get rear ended by the car behind you because they hit a patch of ice.
My dog is not a fan of snow, so he cuddled into some blankets instead.

I haven't been shooting much recently. I miss it, but with everything going on right now, it's not really something I can commit to. Here are a handful of recent pics though:

As usual I have been pouring most of my time and energy into my Etsy shop.
I have an even coming up that I'm vending at. I'm a bit nervous about it and I really hope it goes well. If you are attending this:

I'll see you there dressed to the nines!
I created a banner for my table, and am pretty happy with it:

(Click it to visit my shop!)
I've been working on lots of new stuff including new poison bottle necklaces with this laudanum label I created:

It took me a while, but I think it turned out okay.
I am running an exclusive discount for a limited time!
20% off everything at checkout!
Enter DISCOUNT20 into the coupon code box at checkout, and receive 20% off your entire purchase!
Here are some recent things I've made:
Bones in a bottle necklaces (made of poly clay)

Vampire fangs in a Jar earrings and necklaces....

Vamp fang locket:

Poison bottle necklaces:

And more Absinthe, cameo and Steampunky goodness!

And soooooo much more. Sorry, that was a lot of pics.
The lighter pics are a new setup I'm trying. Etsy seems to like lighter photos, so I am experimenting. I think I'll make the depth of field shallower next time.
Anyway, I hope everyone survived Valentine's day alright. I like mine pretty low key......definitely not a diamonds type of girl. But I did make a fancy dinner for my valentine. We watched Inception (finally), The Social Network (again) and played xbox (mass effect 3)....then ate too many cheap chocolates and blacked out. Okay, maybe we didn't black out, but the rest of the night is a secret.
Have a lovely March, and "jackrabbit"! (Now you say it back, and we have good luck all month long)
XoXoXo!
