Okay, here is why I was so vague in asking what you thought about CARM's site:
My brother is whatever religion this guy supports, he worships him and believes every word. No questions, it's the only truth. He is an extremist and incredibly judgemental. I.e. Obama is a terrorist, all middle easterners are terrorists, everyone but him is going to hell.......
I stopped talking to him 3 years ago when he found out I did SG (everyone else in the family knew). He went ballistic, screamed, called me a whore, and insulted me in other very personal ways. If it wasn't over the phone I have no doubt he would have hit me.
It was so hurtful, my therapist is still helping me work through it.
Now, thanks to Facebook he wants to reunite because god has changed him. He is no longer judgemental, and respects what everyone else believes. He will no longer push his religion on me, or ask me to pretend to be their religion around his kids.
He ended it by linking this site as well as anti ASLU, and anti mormon links.
I was pissed. He was raised knowing he could worship whatever he wanted. Even though my parents, other brother, sister, and I did not share the same beliefs as him. We weren't very religious people, for the most part still aren't, and he posted this.
This was supposed to prove to me how open minded he is. He said it is not disrespectful to tell another person their religion is "false", it is informing them. That site is not offensive, it's merely a Christian apologetic site to defend, and "arm" themselves.
I responded with: "So, if I were to call your religion false, it wouldn't offend you?"
He responded with more preaching, letting me know I am completely ignorant when it comes to the evil forces. He then assumed I was wiccan, and preached some more. I'm not wiccan. Also? It's laughable that I believe in evolution, christians are the most persecuted religion, . . . blah, blah, blah.
I've stopped talking to him again. I said I'm done dealing with this, it's not healthy to be around people like him.
I just wanted to know if being offended by this site being shoved in my face was overreacting. I wanted some non-biased opinions.

It's hot again, it has to be close to 100 degrees out there! I'm melting. The animals are sprawled in front of fans, I swear my cat asked me to shave him a minute ago.....the heats getting to me.
Thanks for all the compliments on the pendant I made. I had no idea what I was going to do when I started taking apart old busted watches......that's what happened. Why does it seem that art turns out better when it's an unplanned, spur of the moment act rather than a planned out one? Maybe it's just me.
I went to the E.R. twice in one week a couple weeks ago.
First, I kneel on a piece of glass, it flips up, breaks, and cuts off most of the skin ton the top of my foot. Clumsy.
Round 2? Me vs. tack. Hammered thumbtack, end busted off and shot in my eye so hard it hemmorrhaged the back of my eye. Stupid.
I know, I look like crap......I was without makeup, and felt pretty bad.
At least the assistant opthamologist was cute, and my eye didn't fall out.
I've been trying to avoid sharp objects, and have been doing much better.
Kevin even bought me a PERFECT crow/raven shirt for me. It's similiar to a tattoo I'm designing for my upper left arm that involves ravens. So many plans, such little funds.......
Then Kevin got sick, so I played nurse Serene for a week.

My sister came up from Corvallis so I could do her hair and makeup, and Kevin could shoot some pics of her. I think she'd be a great plus size model for Torrid or something. After the photos were edited, she couldn't believe how good she looked. She's always felt ugly, so I wanted to dress her up and prove her wrong! Here's a pic I snapped while taking a break...

In other trivial news...
My tortoise is happy, I re-did his giant terrarium. He still hangs out in the yard too....
And, I made a pendant out of a bunch of broken watch parts. It's a time machine...
Oh, and for those who are wondering, the nipple jewelry is back....well, half of it anyway. And it doesn't match right now....
And....I am making a new target for knife throwing....no picture for that one. I have to go outside to practice though and it's been like 90 degrees, blaring sun.......Spoiler alert, I don't like to be in the sun. At all. Oddly, I do not burn easy at all....it's just so bright, and hot, and bright! I guess it sums it all up when your mother-in-law buys you a shirt that says "the sun is trying to kill me". HA!

I hope everyone likes it, Fractal did a great job and I love the way she shot it. If you look very closely you can see her leg in one of the pics so.....technically I did a multi with Fractal right?
I had just run about 8 city blocks to get through a huge parade blocking the location. I am so relieved I do not look like the sweaty, flushed self that was the reality.

Had an spur of the moment photo shoot Saturday....I think the pics are turning out great.
I'll post them once they are finished. In the mean time here is the crazy make-up aftermath:

Question: am I the only person that hates the smell of freshly cut grass? Everyone just seems to love it this time of year, but it makes me feel sick. I can barely stand the sound of a lawnmower because I know what I am going to smell when I go outside. Maybe I was killed my a lawnmower in a previous life.

I just watched ummm.....what is it called? Oh! Role Models. It was funnier than I thought it'd be. Paul Rudd is totally winning me over, I love his dry humor. I am even starting to not dislike Justin Timberlake. He's great on SNL and was the only funny thing about The Love Guru. Who would have ever imagined? Not me.
Ps. What is a McG, and what did he do to Terminator!?!? Even Rob Sheridan didn't like it......the preview was epic.....WHY? I am afraid to see it now. I was so psyched.
Oh, and I don't think my member review set made the cut. I guess you don't really know for sure if, when, or why they will accepted or rejected it this way. Oh well, Hopefully my shoot this weekend will go well.

I am really excited! I get to be shot by Fractal when she visits Portland later this month. This is the first time I've been able to shoot with a staff photographer in three years or something. The location is really pretty. I hope my body cooperates and doesn't get sick....or sicker I guess.
One of the neighborhood kitties is looking really skinny, so I've been putting food out where I usually see it. Every time I check the bowl, it's empty and flipped upside down. Like when someone downs a shot of whiskey, the cat's like slam! I'm done bitch!
I dunno, I'm rambling now. I should go do some laundry......riveting, nail biting excitement!
Another random thing: Trent Reznor is engaged, I'm so happy for him. I've been borderline obsessed with him since I was 10 years old and I never thought I'd see him so happy and upbeat! The other day he asked if anyone knew of a good romantic comedy to recommend.......this is coming from a guy who's favorite movie is Taxi Driver....and worked with David Lynch on a creepy little film's soundtrack called Lost Highway. Oh and don't forget he produced the soundtrack for Natural Born Killers......well I guess they are all romances in a way. Anyway it doesn't seem like he couldn't have chosen a better girl to love......besides me (o;
I wish soooo badly I could see them again even though I saw them in Dec. I feel like he's going to take a break from touring after this massive one. The closest NIN is coming is the Sasquatch festival, and the tickets are really spendy (because it's a festival)......and there isn't many other bands I'd be interested in seeing there.
