Everyone surviving the Holiday Season so far? I was pleased to see my family members all behaving themselves for Thanksgiving. I said some of my usual protests, but I enjoyed getting to help my Mother and Grandmother cook. I even got to make some gravy on my own! I know it sounds trivial, but for how much my Grandmother likes to be in charge, it was a big deal and sign of trust...and everyone loved it, or lied to make me feel better, either way it made me smile. There were some pranks, of course; I went to put my glasses away and my case explodes with M&Ms when I opened it...at least my Grandpa didn't bring out the farting-noise maker. Lol
Black Friday actually wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. All the crazy people were gone by the time I got in at 3, the store wasn't all that busy anyway, and it was my favorite Manager and co-workers that were closing with me. I hope the rest of you came out unscathed! Now I just need to get over this stupid cold I got on Saturday! Now I just have to work on keeping my sanity with all the Christmas music!
And speaking of Christmas, if anyone wants to get me some stuff from the SG store like the lounge pants (s), charcoal tee (m) or girl's hoodie (m)...I would be SUPER grateful! You'd totally get pics!: kiss:
