I have made a big decision for myself. I have decided that once we are settled into our new home in Vegas I will be going back to school but instead on working on my Masters degree I am going to go to beauty school. I will enroll at the Aveda Institute. I hope this is the right decision and I dont end up regretting this. I hope my family will understand.
In other news.. immigration is finally onto our application. It looks like we will be back in the US by June. I will be stopping off in PA for 2 weeks to see my family then we will driving to Vegas from Harrisburg. That should be a fun drive with the exception that I will have all 3 cats in the car with us. I am sure that once we get to our new house they will forgive me for making them ride in a car.

Sounds like quite a change for you though. Don't worry. You'll always have options. You can always get back to your Masters if you want, later. Kudos on taking a chance! That's what life is for, after all, right? xo

wow lady i havent talked to you in quite some time. im glad to hear things are moving along. im sure your family will understand, you have to do what you think is going to make you happy in the long run. if Aveda is what you want then go for it!

Congratulations.I am quite sure your family will support anything that you have choosen to do! I just finished cosmetology school and I am about to turn 40 so trust me it is never to late to change your course in life..Only you have the mapquest! Best of luck lady!

You should definitely do something you think you would love to do, rather than something that you might not like as much...too many people end up with careers they don't even like. I wish you the best of luck. =)

Do it because it interests you... If the schooling leads to a job / career, then it's worth it.

If it what you want to do then by all means do it. I just actually had my hair highlighted @ the Aveda school in San Francisco. The student did a great job!

I always say go with your gut! Do what feels right and it's usually the right way to go =)

Vegas eh? wow.. well that's only a few hours away, we should hang out sometime!
