I wouldn't know where to go to first. I've had my passport for 2 years and I haven't used it yet.

Paris...you must see the catacombs...creepy but cool! I loved st. Sulpice..but the best part of Paris...don't be a tourist...just love it...cafes..restaurants...the smells..the art...just let Paris happen or it'll move by too fast. I've Been 3 times now...I don't do the tourist stuff anymore...I love the city too moch!

Best advice for Amsterdam is NoT to travel by car. Bike and tram are the way to go. I didnt get to catch any shows while there, while the boat tours looked cool too. And like above just relax and enjoy....

I love the Low Counntries, beautiful place. I haven't been myself since 1993 but Amsterdam is a blast so I know you will love it there. Good luck, have fun and please be safe.

Amsterdam is my favorite city on Earth. There is one thing to pay UNFAILING attention to, though. There are "lanes" for bicycles/motorscooters, and lanes for cars of course, and tram tracks. Before crossing from the "pedestrian" part of the sidewalk, be very sure nothing is coming either way; obey ALL of the crossing lights, ALL the time. If you don't, you will be sorry.

But after all, it's about the ONLY thing they ask - not a place with lots of rules - and it IS for everyone's good.

The only time I've seen or heard anyone lose their temper there, it was over this sort of thing.

Don't miss the Reichmuseum - even if it is still being restored in parts, they show the VERMEERS!!! <3.

There are often very good concerts.

If you like beer, do not fail to try La Chouffe!
