You can carry an insane amount of books and order them directly onto your kindle. It's all so convenient. These are truly modern times. Entirely futuristic. The future is now...but I digress.

I'm just sitting around now, everyone is playing wii.
I've begun to work on a fabric sculpture for my January show at my local coffee place. The piece is called "Pleasure Island." It is meant to be attached to the ceiling. Today I bought my materials...I found amazing fabric on sale from Halloween, so it will be made of rainbow-ish sparkly blue and stretchy holographic shiny magenta...truly lovely, very gaudy. P-E-R-F-E-C-T.

Kindle looks pretty cool... but I think I'd still miss the feeling of a real book in my hands. Guess I'm just old fashioned
