How to eat Vegemite!

That's the first time i've heard you speak and you sound like an Aussie, and a Queenslander to boot. I will agree with you though that you do not need much. I personally would have a 'little' bit more, but it's funny how that's what we've grown up with and generally every Australian loves the stuff. I personally do not like peanut butter, and the thought of that with jam (jelly) makes me want to (I typed that and then realised there was an icon for it).

I should know by now not to watch your videos because I end up missing you like crazy And now I want vegemite, but I have no bread OR butter but I have vegemite - it's torture.

mmm vegemite! I agree that most folk don't know how to eat it. My grandparents were all born in Scotland and, we grew up with marmite (same diff, really), I like mine on mochi! with, of course, a LOT of butter. nom!

Ok, so that’s how to eat that ungodly substance. I worked with a couple of guys from Perth and they kept trying to get me to eat that but slathered on bread like peanut butter. I did get them to come around to Pittsburgh style cole slaw fries and cheese on almost everything.

I've tried Vegemite a few times and I just can't get into it. It's too salty for me. My uncle is Australian and he eats it how you do and I've tried it and just can't do it.

People; before you use these stuffs (covers both, that way) read the LABEL... you realise the salt content involved & wonder why laying it on with a trowel leads to you wanting to blow chunks? Would you put a teaspoon of salt in your mouth in ONE go...?

Yeast extract spreads (generic food term) are for sparing use & then (& ONLY then) do you go for 'nutsville' and add more to find your taste threshold.
