It's amazing how much an animal can mean to you. They are so caring, and loving, and loyal.

I lost my little staffy a few months ago, and had to have grief councilling because of it. I got her from a shelter 4 years ago. It was fate. But that;s another story. She was 3 years old and had been in a bad home. I lived in a house all by myself, in a town where I knew no one. She was my saviour. She slept in my bed, she drove in the car with me, she came to sleep overs with me. She was my baby girl. We were always together. We had 4 years together before she had to be put to sleep. She understood me. She was my world




Then today, my childhood dog died. After 15 years of being with us. It hurts just as much.


Just as I thought i may not be able to get over it, this little one licked the tears off my face. I love her.



And this one gave me big bear cuddles.
