Look at this little bastard in a basket:

And here's another one:

And of course there's Dolly Parton:

I came home to see them for a quick cuddle but I'm headed back to Australia soon for more of this:

There was some Thailand this year – loved it so much I'm already going back:

But mostly I've been working hard to finance this crazy life. In some ways I've really settled down (boyfriend, apartment, furniture), but I'm still making the gypsy thing work.
Thank goodness I went to that New Year's party so many months ago. There were fireworks.

Such random photos, such a random entry.
Just looking around, saying hi. X

Frangipani flowers fall from the sky in Byron Bay.

Your first Christmas spent in the sun and sand is cause for much celebration. Even if (ESPECIALLY IF) dinner is half a kebab from the airport that you split with one of your besties.

Sometimes the photo of the failed handstand is better than the photo of the actual handstand. (That's my friend, not me!)

When hiking up to the light house sometimes it's necessary to stop and snap a picture (this is also a good time to catch your breath).

At sunset all the hippies gather to watch the surfers make the most of the fading light. It's the perfect time to bring your beach towel and your hoodie and relax while the drunk Irish backpackers tell you and your friend how pretty you are. (Beer goggles!)

Life is beautiful.

Life in Sydney is beautiful.

I used to say that my spirit animal was a reverse cougar, but I no longer fuck around with men who are much older than me. (There's something about a 70 year old that lacks... virility.) So after stumbling around the Taronga Zoo I realized my new spirit animal is the Tasmanian Devil.

Tasmanian Devils at their best are... inappropriate.

I found this one trying to sell her wares next to a broken wagon wheel. I gave her a two-dollar coin and she let me take her picture.

I never thought I'd live in Sydney, but here I am and it feels like Paradise. I'll never get tired of seeing this.

Or this. All that plus paddle boarding, trapeze, beaches, the cliff walk, parties, dancing, cooking, eating, eating, eating gelato, eating ice cream, and good time spent with good people. The only thing we did more than eat was wear bikinis, two things that went surprisingly well together. (Well that depends on who you ask I guess, but we were happy.)

Happy New Year! I waved goodbye to the old and welcomed the new with a glass of pink champagne on a rooftop. This last year has been incredible, and it went by incredibly fast. Can't wait to see what happens (/what I'm going to make happen) next.

I'm not archiving but I'll no longer be active on this site. It's just time...
Thanks and love to my little handful of friends here. XXO
