Every now and then I think maybe I want to take some time off from the movie business. That maybe I should just be an "artist" and a housewife and not work so damn hard. Then yesterday I take a job and I'm up in a 50 foot scissor-lift shooting a guy flying out of a 2 story high window and I realize I love my job. It's the little things. I love big cameras and fancy cranes and lenses that are 3 feet long. I love the comradery between the crew. And let's be honest, I love the money too. But today my back hurts and my feet are tired.
I can't believe we are already well into October. October is by far my favorite month of the year. And lot's of exciting things are happening this month! For starters, be sure to tune into CBS on October 18th to see me and the Suicide Girls in an episode of CSI:NY!!! Check out Anthony Zuiker's interview about it here.. He is one hell of a guy.
Also, you can finally buy the SG Italian Villa DVD! Being in an Italian Viilla on a vineyard in Tuscany last June was by far one of the best experiences of my life. We will be having a signing for the DVD at the Virgin Megastore on Sunset October 24th.

Just got confirmation that I am going to be on the mother fucking Howard Stern show October 24th. What!? We will be playing a little Metal Trivia in promotion of my band WATCH ME BURN. But I'm sure there will be some sexy goodness too.... I mean after all it IS the Howard Stern show.

2 hours into the Tijuana portion of my band's music video shoot we were surrounded by Mexican police, who at first seemed to have our best interests in mind. They warned us that it was a very very dangerous street we were shooting on. We wanted to say 'Thank You' and be on our way. But they continued to warn us that it was dangerous- that at any moment we could be surrounded by many people with firearms that would rob us. Taking a look at the current situation it became clear that that was what was happening right now. We were being robbed by the Mexican police. After harassing us for over an hour and threatening us to go to the "judge", they walked away with $400 of our dollars. Mexican police: 1. Watch Me Burn: 0. Assholes.
The rest of the trip was nice. We went and had a nice meal in Rosarito after that, and then got some great footage at a Mexican cemetary. But apparently an RV with a metal band inside is very suspicious so we got stopped again at the border. After a one hour inspection with 2 K-9's the Border patrol was satisfied that we were not hiding any drugs or immigrants. Assholes.
It's good to be home. I like watching the squirrels outside of my window eat pine cones.
I have a very busy week ahead of me. Lots of naked girls.
And then I think I'm ready to get back on set. I miss playing with big movie cameras. And I miss the money for sure. I think I better make a few phone calls...

The band leaves tonight for Mexico, and Skatepunk will be shooting our music video. I'm so excited!! Plus we will be filming the other part in LA on Sunday. This is going to be the music video ever. I have worked side by side with these guys for countless hours on end, and it will be fun to be on the other side of their camera as well. Now all we need is some roosters...

I went to my first METAL SKOOL last night with James, Aspen, and halsparks. Let me just tell you that it rocked my ass off! I am officially a fan of the Metal Skool. They are brilliant! And Hal, you rocked it with those dudes! Excellent stuff.
My band WATCH ME BURN is playing a 'sick' show this weekend with PHOBIA. I am excited.
Saturday night suckers. It will 100% pure grindcore.
The following weekend Skatepunk will be filming our music video in Mexico. Stay tuned for that one...

I am very excited because at this very moment, two handymen are on my patio building my new patio furniture. It is going to be so freaking awesome.
Many of you know that I had a surgery last week. I just want to say Thank you so much to all of my extended SG family that has been so caring and supportive. It has been so awesome. I even had hot ladies like Taye and Wendy bring me a smoothie! Alsana made a house call too, and Lizzi brought me chocolates and heavy metal yesterday. That is not even to mention all of the instant messages, text messages, and phone messages that I have gotten from many of you. I am touched. Thanks for being so sweet! I don't want to start name dropping. You know who you are and I heart you.
What else? I have lots of SG shoots this week. It will feel good to be back in action. Other than that I have lots of free time (at least more free time than usual) so my main goals are to catch up with old friends and do projects around the house. A few more pieces of furniture to buy, and some final touches- to make my dream home even more like paradise. And the cherry on top will be when I adopt my baby puppy. Life is good.
