There was so much more in 2007. It was a pretty full year. But much of it was laying some foundation for things to come our way in 2008, so hopefully I will have lots of exciting stuff to share soon. Things I want in 2008:
-A doggie
-A stripper pole in my loft
-To speak Spanish
The rest is a secret. (for now)
Have a great year everyone!
I know I will.

I want my baby back.
Other than that, Happy Holidays.

It's at a strip club! How can you beat that?
In other news, October was a complete roller coaster for me. My whole world has changed, but I hope it's all for the better. Lots of good things are coming.
2. The Get Her! opening party was a ton of fun. It was the first chance I've had to open the doors of my photo studio to family and friends and it was a good time. We had some art on the walls in the loft, projections on the roof, and a photobooth! Here are some funny pics from the photobooth:
And here is a little movie sequence of the entire night's pics of the photobooth:
3. Going a little further back in time... (it's been awhile since I updated), the WATCH ME BURN record release show was a ton of fun too! Here are some pics I stole from Rigel:
4. I've recently been watching some BBC documentaries on the Life of Birds. Amazing! I've decided that if all this big city stuff ever gets to be too much for me, I'm taking off to film documentary footage of birds. And I'm serious. I could make a life out of that.
5. For now, I've rejoined the travelling circus. Meaning: I've gone back to working camera more on movie/commercial sets again. Living the life of an "artist" is a wonderful thought, but when it comes down to it I got to pay the bills. Plus I missed the large scale of things, the sexy camera rigs, and living in a world where someone can say "make it snow" and it will indeed snow. Even in Los Angeles. In the middle of a closed down freeway. That doesn't happen everyday.
6. But because of that stupid hectic schedule, (the reason I "retired" in the first place), I've been missing my wonderful pole dancing lessons with LizaRose. I love it so much. I wanna get back on the pole ASAP.
7. Me and Skatepunk have been utilizing my studio as a full blown factory! I love it. Stencil making, spraypainting, t-shirt printing, photo taking, movie making mofo factory! This space is my most favorite thing in life right now- especially when my puppy Charlie is there to help. Thank you to all the special ladies that have stopped by!
8. Oh! You can hear some of my band in Roach's Miss Horrorfest video!

That's me screaming. Go to You Tube's Miss Horrorfest competition and give her 5 stars! (If it's not too late).
9. You can still buy the new Watch Me Burn record HERE. It might be in the SG shop soon... standby for that one.
10. For a limited time I will be selling a print of this self-portrait:

There are a few ways you can buy it:
You can go HERE and purchase the CD, the vinyl, or digitally download it.
If you live in LA, you can go to Amoeba! I was very excited that today they decided to take a large quantity of it. It should be out on the floor by tomorrow.
And last, if you are in LA or surrounding areas- our record release show is this Saturday with PHOBIA and EAT THE LIVING. The show will be from 9pm-12am at Charlie O's Lounge in downtown Los Angeles. 501 S. Spring St., Los Angeles, CA, 90014.
You can see and hear some cool Watch Me Burn stuff at SILVERTOOTHRECORDS.COM. Click on 'Bands'.
I know some of you have requested other types of merch in the past. Stand by... I think some new shirts and all of that are coming.

It's our record release show! The first chace ever to buy our new album, and I must say it's the first thing we have ever made that I am 100% proud of. It's really, really good. And I'm a tough critic! If you don't come to show, we're not friends.
Because I got a Leica D-Lux 3 for my B-day last week.
That's how come.
So... here is me taking a picture of myself right away (even though you can't really tell how excited I am):

Bday dinner at El Coyote:

To continue the Bday celebration, I went to a Bring your own Pool Party- hosted by WARLORD.
Have you ever been to a bring your own pool party? Full of kiddie pools? Probably not.

I love grindcore girls!
And shotgunning beers...
A few snaps from my bday bbq:
These are some of the views in the hills when I'm walking my dog:
Yes, that was my buttcrack.
And speaking of the dog... I love my baby Charlie:

And last but not least... thank you SO much for all of the people who stopped by to wish me a Happy Birthday. And ultimo thank you to these folks who made me Bday drawings:

Keep on rocking the free world.
The Watch Me Burn record is finally out of the press!

It feels so good to hold it in my hand, it was such a long time coming. It looks and sounds amazing. We got hot pink vinyl for crying out loud!!! The cover illustration is by ZakSmith and my girl Maggie did SUCH an amazing job with the layout and design. Skatepunk's apartment is completely filled with boxes of CD's and Vinyl and I'm a happy Sawa.
You can't buy it YET. But SOON. Probably around September 8- I will definately keep you posted. There will be a record release show too that will rock your ass.
In other news, I was a part of one of the best dance moves EVER.
You can clearly see, that since I am raising the roof, this guy is bringing down the house.

Oh and my Bday is in less than a week!
Drink a large Rockstar and play Goatwhore at full volume.
I promise you will get that shit done.
1* You know that feeling you get when you are in school, in it's those last few days before summer vacation? You can feel the summer in the air, and you feel like you have your whole life in front of you? You have a last few days of hard work, but it's OK because summer vacation is just around the corner? That's how I felt this past week. Those of you who know me, know that I have been transitioning towards more time doing photography, and less time on movie sets. So I was just on this last 10 day monster commercial, it was long and hard- but towards the end I knew- just a few more days and I am done with this for now. I can do whatever I want, and make my studio happen. It was that same feeling I had back in school right before summer.
2* The song "School's out for Summer" and "Let the Good times Roll" have been playing in my head constantly.
3* I am going to see Wizard of Gore tonight. Skatepunk is back in town. Life is awesome.
4* My doggie is sleeping in my lap. It doesn't get much better than that.
5* I have a few sets I shot that landed in the hopefuls section. Let me know what you think:
Sultry

Brodi- Dismantle Me

Chakra- Namaste

Shelly- Terra Cotta

Tapioka- Garden of Eden

6* I am doing a cleanse right now.
7* I am getting my hair and nails done next week. This would normally not be news worthy at all. But for the past 4 years there is no way I could have gotten my nails done even if I wanted to because of the type of work I do. And I have never really been the type of girl to get my nails done. So now I am almost doing it just because I can, and I couldn't for so long.
8* I am visiting my mom in Oregon next week, and my grandpa will be there. I am excited for this little reunion. I will be in Portland on the 1st if any of my Oregon pals want to have lunch or something.
9* The Watch Me Burn record is OFFICIALLY in the press, so now it's almost out for reals! It ONLY took 2 fucking years from the date we recorded it to get here. I think it's going to take a few more weeks to press. I will definately post links of where to buy it when the time comes. And another music video is in the works and will be shot the first week of August. More info on that to come. Yay!
10* My agenda for the summer is to pimp my studio, take the photography to the next level, hang out by the pool a lot, spend lots of time with my man and my dog, go to the beach, go shopping, barbeques, exercise, new music with the band, and to enjoy all of the small things in life!
