I finally saw Oldboy last night. It was pretty fucking awesome. I love Netflix. They also brought me Russian Ark and Run Lola Run, plus a million other gems in the past.

The weather has been weird lately. Super hot, but cloudy at the same time. Some might say this is Earthquake weather.

It's October. Probably the best month of the year, other than July- because that's when I was born. I get so excited when there is cute Halloween stuff everywhere I go. And then the climax on Halloween, the best holiday ever. And the one day of the year when I have an excuse to dress like a total slut. Usually my band plays right around Halloween, and that is the only time I dress up for shows in a provocative sort of way. I don't know if we even have a show this year. I hope we do...

Oldboy is a great film - one my favourites from last year. I think it lost some of its potency when I watched it on DVD recently.

You'll probably want to keep your eye open for Chan Wook Park's concluding chapter in his vengeance trilogy Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, which is out on your side of the pond in February 2006.

Russian Ark is the original one trick pony
of a film, but WHAT A FUCKING TRICK.
A visit to St. Petersberg must be the max.
It makes me wish I was still smoking pot.
