There are more, actually, but I haven't uploaded them off the camera yet. I'm sure these are boring enough.
Didn't find any amanitas this year, or much of anything in the way of mushrooms. It was sooooo ridiculously dry! I had the worst pokey, bloody boogers.
Remembered my dreams almost every night. Had some strange ones.
Not ready to go back to work.
Birthday coming up, on 8.8.08. All I want is for my sleeve to be worked on. Other stuff would be good, too, but I'm not picky.
It's looking good for mushroom hunting. There was rain last week, and it's been warm.
Be back in a couple weeks, will post lots of pics as usual.

Can't wait to dig in.
Hopefully going to shoot yet another set with Steve in the next few days...
Killer outfit: check
Amazing location: check
Great photographer: tmronin, so yeah, check!
Should be a great time.
I'm somewhat undecided about whether to submit via staff review or member review. I'd like it to go up right away, so member review would be the best option. But I really don't want my photos stolen & put up on other sites without the SG logo, as all the member review photos inevitably are... So I'm probably going to submit via staff review, which unfortunately means no one will see it for months and months.
We're getting a new bed today, thanks to Cineman, maybe a coffee table too. I'm sooo looking forward to not climbing up the side of the mattress every night. The middle sag has become unbearable, and is destroying our backs.
So yay, new set on the way

give it love.

There's cute a thread up in the SG Lounge about what two people we'd like to be sandwiched in between...
My choices:
Jonathan Kroppman, Juicy Couture model

+
Jeremy Piven

(if anyone knows them.... hook a sista up!
OR...
Jack Kerouac (pre-delerium tremens-days)

+
Paul Newman (pre old-man days)

Confess, naughty boys and girls...
A girl randomly said this to me at the bookstore today. It was dead silent in there; I was reading a book.
I asked her if she was talking to me, and she said an emphatic "YES."
Then she purchased something, said she was having a "very bad experience in here," and asked if it was okay to go before she started "flipping out even more."
Clearly having a schizophrenic episode. Poor girl.

I just got back from a talk by Robert Thurman, chair of the Buddhist Studies dept. @ Columbia University. He's been called The Father of American Buddhism. Oh, and he's Uma Thurman's father too. What a great character! He was really funny. He went on and on about Jack Kerouac, coincidentally. His new book is about the Dalai Lama, and the whole Tibet/China issue. It's officially on the must-read list, which is about 10000 miles long...

I didn't go to either SG events this weekend. Lame. There was a BBQ at HQ on Friday, and the new montly Club Suicide on Saturday. My social anxiety was insurmountable this weekend, unfortunately.
