Well that's good, cause I inadvertedly signed up again (my keeping record of things sucks) and it's just good to know you're around.

My advice on how to deal with everything: take it easy, no point adding extra pressure.

to be an election judge, basically you can go to your county's webpage and there should be an option to apply to be a judge. there's judges, student judges, or you can just be an election worker. i googled my county and election and it brought me to their page where i applied. i'm supposed to be getting an assignment to do for them to see if i can work it.
my county, kane, pays $145 for the day. i believe, as told by a girl in my social work class, that chicago pays $300.

Actually, I think I'll be on my way to Seattle with my dad and brother-in-law....not that I would really get the chance to see you...I'll bet you're far too busy...

Good to see you are staying busy. Hope that you, the slinkies, and all other scally & fuzzy friends are well. The think the NOLA inlaws all got lucky this time. The ones in the city proper are without power, but no damage. The ones West in La Place and Baton Rouge are just getting power now, but all is well. Probably will go to vist over Thanksgiving. I'm not even from there and I love that city, can't imagine it not being there anymore.
