So much going on I think I'm going to implode!

I also discovered I have vasovagal syncope, postural hypotension and arrhythmia. Fun shit huh.

Vasovagal syncope occurs when your body overreacts to triggers, such as the sight of blood or extreme emotional distress. The trigger results in vasovagal syncope - a brief loss of consciousness caused by a sudden drop in your heart rate and blood pressure, which reduces blood flow to your brain.

Orthostatic hypotension, also known as postural hypotension, and colloquially as head rush or dizzy spell, is a form of hypotension in which a person's blood pressure suddenly falls when standing up or stretching. The symptom is caused by blood pooling in the lower extremities upon a change in body position. It is quite common and can occur briefly in anyone, although it is particularly prevalent among the elderly, and those with low blood pressure.

An arrhythmia is a problem with the rate or rhythm of the heartbeat. During an arrhythmia, the heart can beat too fast, too slow, or with an irregular rhythm. A heartbeat that is too fast is called tachycardia. A heartbeat that is too slow is called bradycardia. Most arrhythmias are harmless, but some can be serious or even life threatening. During an arrhythmia, the heart may not be able to pump enough blood to the body. Lack of blood flow can damage the brain, heart, and other organs.

That's one hell of a triple whammy! Take care of yourself, though presumably you've been living with these conditions for some time already frown

Certainly not much fun but I trust you will find the resources to help you cope with that stuff. People often don't volunteer personal information, especially if it makes them seem flawed or weak, so we may not realize how unusual it is to be without some serious physical challenge, or even several. I know beautiful people who seem to be without a care in the world, yet they have chronic conditions that are quite severe. You are very far from alone.

My knees have been shot since university so I can only walk short distances. These things are disappointing and distressing when they first rear their ugly heads but they're only bumps in the road. You will be fine. kiss

Not a fun combination, but you can find a way to deal with it if any of it becomes serious.

Heart issues can be scary. I know from first hand experience, but medicine has really helped me out. Hope they can do the same for you. Take care.

I had a friend with vasovagal syncope. She got aling rather well, though it was odd at times. She would barely bump her elbow or something, smile, and say "I'm about to pass out, don't let me hit anything on my way..." very sweet gal, wish you could meet her to talk.

That's a bummer. I know what you are going through tho. I don't have the first thing you said but the other 2 are common with people who have had heart transplants which I've had. It takes time to really adjust to those issues but you learn to how to suppress them. Like I've had to almost cut caffeine completely out cause it can help cause arrhythmia's. I hope things get better for ya tho medical stuff is never fun.
