i've been getting ready for the new True Blood season premiere this summer. Yes, I know I am months ahead...but I'm really excited for it I recently read all of the books and it made me fall even more in love with the show. If any of you have read the books you know how different they are from the show, so I am really interested to see how Season 5 plays out being as there are several characters in the books that the show has already killed off. Hmmm! So I started re-watching the series in hopes that I would just watch an episode or two every night before bed and it would take a few months to get through seasons 1-4, and then I would re-read the books again. By the time I finished (or so I had planned) it would be time for the new book to be released in May and then the new season to start in June!

Boy. Was I wrong. I got through seasons 1-4 (well, I am halfway through season 4) in a week. Thank heaven for HBOGo because I just can't turn that shit off! I was reacquainted with my favorite True Blood character (at least based off of the show)...Franklin Mott. Familiar with him? If not, you should be, cause he's quite possibly my favorite psycho path. You know, next to Lord Voldemort and all Who is arguably sane...

First I am selling my wedding dress. I wore it for two hours (max) for the ceremony and then pictures and switched into my reception gown. It is a corset back, so it will easily fit sizes 0-4. I am a 0 and it was falling off of me, so it may even fit up to a 6. It was a hand made gown made of french silk taffeta. Originally priced at about $12,000....I paid almost $7,000 it, since I got it on sale. I'm asking $700 or best offer. It's in perfect condition, a sweetheart neckline, lace accents, it is SUCH a beautiful dress. My dress isnt this champagne color, it is a soft ivory/off white. I will also throw the veil in for free, which was a $250 veil.

I got a new job! Which I am pretty excited about. I'll be bartending on Inked Out Sundays at a local bar (same place we are doing SG night, actually!), and they only need me the one night of the week..which is awesome because school is about to start and I am taking 15 credits this semester, so one night a week is great. Apparently they do brilliant business on these Inked Out nights because they give discounts to people with tattoos, even bigger discounts to people who got a tattoo done by a local artist, and even have live tattooing. I started on Tuesday and had a ton of fun! Plus my boss and trainer bought me some shots. So I was a happy camper

my oh my it has been a very busy couple of weeks! Lots of festivities, drunken smiles, movie premieres, etc. Ready for a photo dump?

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows PT2
Okay, so I saw it at midnight when it came out, and again the next day for our annual Harry Potter party. We had an amazing time...there were tons of amazing people dressed up and having fun. It was also nice that both theaters we ended up in didn't have a million obnoxious people hootin' n hollerin' at every little scene in the movie. Teenagers, I appreciate the enthusiasm, but shut the fuck up please The party was a huge success. We rented a few hotel rooms within walking distance of the theater in the Rio, loads of us were decked out in our "house" gear. We had over $400 of liquor, 4 cases of beer, two Harry Potter "Scene It" games going on simultaneosly, and my favorite, the "Indian Game" Harry potter style (which is where you select a "character card" and without looking stick it to your forhead and ask 20 questions to figure out who you are. However many questions it takes you to guess, is how many chugs you drink...if you can't guess your character within 20 questions...add a shot of Firewhiskey to your tab Needless to say, between the hours of 2 in the afternoon and 11:00PM (when we headed to the theater) we got pretty sloshed. I actually broke my Slytherin necklace from gripping it so hard! It was awesome!!! Now...time for my thoughts on the movie. Please don't click to see spoilers if you, indeed, do not want to read spoilers about the movie. Just don't be dumb

so, there is this girl that used to work with us at Red Robin...shes always been a HUGE slut and annoying bitch that no one really likes. Anyways. So she moves on, has a couple kids...and then apparently left her 11 month old baby alone in the bathtub and the little poor darling drowns. her other kid gets taken away, and then she gets engaged a week later and plays croquet and blogs all about it on facebook. I can't stop thinking about it. Sooo sad. Not just for the poor angel who lost her life because her mum decided to go smoke a cigarette while her kid was in the tub, but for the other lil one who now is taken away from his entire family. I mean i suppose he is better off, but really, its not ever good for a child to be taken from it's mother. So, so, SO sad. James is my world. He is 2 1/2 and I still won't leave him alone in the tub. He could slip, bump his head, anything could happen. Not to be all holier than thou but seriously girl, what the fuck.

on a lighter note...I've been doing a lot of hanging out with old friends lately. I suppose its at the hand of my possibly failing marriage. Jared and I are lacking in anything to say to each other so i'm finding comfort in old friends. This is not such a bad thing. I really believe the universe is always unfolding as it should Fun times at Max's taphouse! 178 beers on tap...SO fun!
