Well hello there May!
This month has snuck right up on me, it is hard to believe half of the year is nearly over. So many exciting things are happening over the next few weeks, including my 6 year SG anniversary and 27th birthday! Crazy....6 years on SuicideGirls. I try and think about what my life would be like without SG, and while this part of my life isn't really an exact definition of who I am, it has been a huge part of my life. I don't think I go a day without talking to at least one of my friends I've made from this site. I never really expected SuicideGirls to be the place where I would meet some of my closest friends. It is kind of like being a member of the most bad ass sorority on the planet...I am so grateful to all of the brilliant women (and men too!) that I have in my life because of SuicideGirls. Same goes for the unique opportunities I've had because of this site. Shootfests, parties, traveling, Hell City, etc. Just amazing, amazing, amazing times over the last 6 years. Thank you SG for being rad and having me here
Annnnnd then my birthday! 27, which is nuts. It doesn't seem like a "getting up there" number to me, but I feel it. I have such a hard time staying awake past 11 pm. The idea of going bar hopping with friends nearly exhausts me on thought alone. These days making a yummy dinner, getting a movie or starting a new TV series on Netflix, and some drinks at home is pure heaven. I do have a lot more "me" time these days, which has been fun but a little lonely at times. Chris is working crazy 70 hour weeks, which leaves me home more with James. It's great because he is at the BEST age right now. But he goes to school, and naps, and goes to bed early and once I am done my chores I don't have much to do except read and watch tv. I know, I can't really complain, right? Getting to be a stay at home mom is fun. Except on the rare nights i DO work (once or twice a week) I am almost too tired to make it to the end of the shift because I am not so used to being up late anymore. I am starting to feel like I'm settling down into my late 20's nicely.
Other than that I haven't been up to a ton. I went to Hell City! Had such a fun time, shot a new set with SoBelle, andI am SO excited for you guys to see. It really came out fantastic, and Belle is a dream to work with. There are some previews down a bit under my prints section of this blog
Speaking of the new set, I am selling some prints to help raise money for my friend Amber who is very sick. She is going through some crazy mystery diagnosis stuff. The last 6 months or so she has lost over 60 lbs, been in and out of the ICU, been to specialists, had endless tests, and is still without any answers. In the mean time, she has racked up quite a medical bill. All funds from this print sale will go to help cover her expenses. There is also a page for donations to Amber and her family if any of you kind people would rather donate directly rather than purchase a print. Any and everything helps, and I can't begin to tell you how much we all appreciate even taking the time to read this
All prints are 8x10 glossy, and can be signed if you wish. they are $15 a piece or 2 for $25. You can PM me if you are interested in purchasing any of these. They will come without the logo on the front. Here are the options:

My first blog of the 2013! I was very over due, but I wanted to wait until I had enough blog worthy news. Prepare for massive photo dumping...
Life has been hectic and full of surprises. The biggest news is that I am engaged to my best friend and the love of my life It was a very spontaneous proposal made after a fun night with good friends (including the ever so lovely Acacia) good food, and probably the most amazing party game I've ever played; Cards Against Humanity. Has anyone played this yet? It was sold out everywhere online and isn't available in stores, but they have a free print out version! It cost us about $7 to get it printed on good cardstock over at Staples. The game is really similar to Apples to Apples, but very non PC.
our delicious meal consisting of fish tacos, and mussels in an amazing saffron broth. Thanks to the saffron score from elodyKat!! What a great surprise that was, her sending that to me. She is such a doll.
The holidays came and went like the wind!
Halloween was a blast! We had the Bullets Ink Halloween bash and then ended the night at my bar. Chris and I dressed as Jessica and Roger Rabbit. I also went all out on the pumpkins as usual. We ended up carving them during Hurricane Sandy. Frederick wasn't really effected much, not even as much as a trash can knocked over at my place. Didn't lose DirectTV signal. But it was good, basically all of downtown Frederick was closed so the whole family stayed in and did pumpkin carving. I made a big pot of Cincinnati chili and cornbread. it was scrumptious!

Thanksgiving was delicious! We went to my aunts as usual and had a huge family dinner with my huge family. I was too busy stuffing my face followed by a long tantrum due to the horrific loss against the Redskins. Next season, boys!
My ex-husband had our son this year for Christmas/New Years down in Florida for nearly 2 weeks!! So we didn't do much. We had a very relaxing evening. I made a roasted goose though, for the first time! It was delicious. Also made a hazelnut-cranberry stuffing, a sweet gravy for the goose, and broccoli casserole. There were certainly no left overs!
New Years Eve was spent with our Black Label Tattoo shop family. The BLTC New Years party is usually at the shop, but this year New Years fell on a day that one of our good friends was bartending, so we brought the party to the bar! Chris and I stopped in for a bit, did our secret santa gift exchange, watched the ball drop and then retired home for a quiet night. We were both in bed by 2 am haha.

New Years Day we made mimosas and a nice big brunch and then I worked all night! Pretty simple
I got some work done on my leg piece. I have sat for 4+ hours before, but god damn. I could only sit about 2 for the black shading to get this done. Inner thigh is a bitch and Clamore has a ridiculously heavy hand!!! But god damn, does the man do great work. I am looking forward to the last session and adding color!
Cla has done a lot of my work (my rose/domino rancid tribute piece , my darth vader cover up over my stars, the irish skull, my avocado, and this). I get a lot of comments about his stuff, and he has recently relocated to Austin, Texas. So anyone interested in getting work by him, he is currently filling in at Black Gold Tattoo Studio. He will also be at Amillion Tattoo full time after next week! He does incredible traditional pieces and his work is built to last!
He also featured me in his most recent magazine, had so much fun shooting it!
Annnnnnnnnd I got a hedgehog His name is Arnold. He's pretty incredible. So friendly!

which is currently where I am now Acacia actually moved MUCH closer to me and so I have been seeing her quite a bit! It's been awesome, she is such a mega babe and I love her dearly.
Also got to see my gorgeous SG wife Mnislahi a couple of weeks ago! She came to stay the night, and we drank a lot of fireball (go figure).
Speaking of Mnislahi....we have a steamy multi coming soon Member Review! March 6th, 10 am.

and Game Day (shot by DylanBorgman) is still in Member Review! I am so grateful for all the love it as gotten, please keep it coming! I would really love to see this go live for the Super Bowl. Born and raised in MD, football is no joke around these parts and is my favorite time of the year! I have wanted to do this set since I became a SuicideGirl back in '07 and was so happy to actually put it in motion.

Also was in a movie that won the 72 hour film festival here in Frederick.
I was dead i also did the make up. was so much fun! we had 72 hours to shoot, rewrite, edit, and submit the given script.
also recently decided to drop out of college and enroll in culinary school. i've never been so excited.

oh man. Florida shoot fest was incredible. If you guy's haven't seen the blogs and instragram pictures yet....well, you're missing out! #sgflshootfest2012 is probably the sexiest hash tag i've seen in a long time.

I am getting so excited for summer's end. I am lucky enough that I get to end summer time with a bang, going out with a large group of beautiful women for the big shootfest Yesenia organized for down in Florida! So many amazing ladies are coming, so keep your eyes peeled for LOTS of scandalous pictures and sets to come I am really excited to see Mnislahi and Drave again, it's been entirely too long! Also getting to meet soo many great girls, Yesenia, Myrte, Bitten, Toxic, Elea, Annathesia, Casshas, Gunner, Renesme, LucySky, Tovi, and that is just to name a few of the amazing list of women I get to spend a week lounging on the beach with Oh yes. Get excited!!!

I also had a fabulous cross country journey in June! We went from Seattle to Santa Cruz (which no doubtedly was just for the night so I could see my old house and eat at my favorite taquera, three times in a row), from Santa Cruz to LA, LA to Vegas, and Vegas pretty much straight home. Ate lots of amazing food, saw a lot of old friends, drank entirely too much, and spent the 4th of July on a rooftop in Las Vegas watching 360degree view of at least 15 firework shows happening for hours. It was amazing. And I took lots of pictures! Go figure
I'll start with Seattle...we went to the EMP to see the Nirvana exhibit. If you haven't seen it, I highly suggest making the visit...it is going to be around for another year. It was amazing...

Didn't do much in Santa Cruz except eat. Right as we got into town it was almost closing time at my favorite taqueria...but we made it JUST in time! I got 4 quesadillas, ate them so fast I couldnt even take a picture
sooo good. i die.
We got to our crappy little motel around 9. Noticed they had these signs posted all over the outside of the building and inside every room, i wonder how many issues they have had with indoor BBQs...
Then we hit the boardwalk, I had random flashbacks to being too high to ride a rollercoaster. Then we went to sleep early, slept in a bit the next day, and hit up my favorite breakfast joint, Cafe Brasil! So many food memories. I got my usual breakfast platter, my acai bowl, and lots of delicious coffee.
Then we drove to see my old house
And then I returned no less than 2 hours after breakfast for more quesadillas at Tacos Morenos before hitting the road to LA.
LA was a blast, we mostly hung out with some friends of ours out there. Ate at Pinks three times. So good every time. I wish they had a hot dog place like that here in Frederick....probably better for my heart that they dont though

Then off to Vegas. My second home. It was so good seeing the whole fam. i LOVE the booze prices in Vegas! We went to Albertsons and got 2 bottles each of Tanqueray, Jose Silver AND Gold, Bacardi Wolfberry, Bacardi regular, plus 2 four packs of red bull, tonic, limes, 12 pack of coke, and two packs of camels for less than $60. I will be moving to Vegas as soon as possible, please and thank you.
Madness, I tell you. I do love Las Vegas. It is always such a good time. My only regret was not making it out to see Stone_Art! Next time budday!!

It's been quite a while since I updated!! There has been much going on over here in me-land, as per usual. My thoughts are all jumbled and disorganized this morning so I will just give you some highlights:
MY MARRIAGE/DIVORCE IS FINALLY COMING TO AN END!!!!! The (soon to be ex) husband and I came to an agreement (after months of arguing and A LOT of money spent) and signed the papers this week. Now we just wait on the hearing date to be officially divorced 
School is over for summer vacation!! The past two semesters have been really hard for me adjusting to being a single mommy, going through a divorce, and working a new job. I got my first C last semester, which sucked. I did much better this Spring, but I did get a B in one of my psych classes...which is blemishing my GPA and I am worried about losing one of my scholarships so I am re-taking the class this summer. Other than that I am feeling back on track with my studies and stoked!
Lots of shows again lately! I saw Local H last month (swoon, I haven't seen them in 10 years and they are one of my favorite bands), got to hang out with Scott Lucas and have a personal solo played for me during the show, and got some free band swag. I was bummed my man missed it, Local H is one of his favorite bands too...but I got him a t shirt Also seeing Rancid tomorrow in New York, Refused on July 16th, Bouncing Souls on June 12, and Danzing doing Misfits set on June 4!!
I got a new pet, his name is Chester, he is a black rat snake and he is as gentle as you can imagine. He is really playful and active and literally takes his food gentle from my hand when I dangle it into his feeding area. I've never met a snake with so much personality.
I finished my Rancid tattoo and geeked out a little when Tim Armstrong tweeted a picture of it. All gushy n stuff....
My birthday is in 2 weeks (June 2)! I updated my wishlist, if any of you amazings are feeling generous. I always send back something in return (signed print, thank you card, etc).
I found out my Grandma's cancer has come back. It was caught super early and hasn't spread anywhere yet so the prognosis is really great. They feel like a small operation will be all that is necessary. Which is great news. But she is in her 70's, and so many things can go wrong in surgeries (I watch too much Grey's Anatomy...I get paranoid), and I am still nervous about it. Her surgery is next week. Fingers crossed.
Chris is moving in with me next month, and we are taking a HUGE road trip across country from Seattle and down the coast of California (making particular stops in Santa Cruz and LA) and then crossing the country by the 40 all the way back to MD. Anyone wanna hang out along the way?!

It's been a little while since I've written...I have been keeping soOoOo busy! School is kicking my ass this semester, I didn't expect my classes to be this hard. It's really my marine bio that is killing me...our professor not only is using an eBook for a text (so annoying), but we are studying 3 chapters a week! I thought it would be a really interesting class, but the author of the text is just awful. And the professor is awful. So the class is a bore...but I am really enjoying my psych, mythology, and philosophy classes!
I got really bored last week, so I re-did my hair. First cut it...
..and then I colored it...
ta-da! I also got a new piercing and colored in one of my tattoos.
annnnnnnnnnnd I perfected my taqueria-style chicken tacos. for those of you on the west coast, you know what im talking about. i don't think ive ever missed anything as much as i miss the taquerias in Santa Cruz.

how was your Valentines Day? Mine was horribly lonely. The boyfriend lives in Seattle. It was my first Valentine's Day by myself in years. But I was working, and I essentially get paid to hang out with all of my friends. So it wasn't *too* bad. But it was a little disheartening knowing our first Valentines Day was spent apart. On an upside, he is moving back here in June. And I can't wait
My favorite holiday is coming up....St. Patrick's Day! What better way to spend it than in Ohio with a huge group of beautiful women? There are soo many girls from the site coming, hopefuls and SuicideGirls...I can't wait to meet everyone and see some again!
Do you guys have any big plans for the greenest day of the year?? Come out to Ohio
