Alright. So I've seen it twice. Obviously I liked it *enough* but I was extremely disappointed. With so, so, so many things. I'm not usually nitpicky when it comes to these movies because I all around just enjoy seeing the world be brought to life. But FUCK. I have been waiting forever to this last movie. Voldemort really comes to be the most terrifying he has ever been in the last book. Somehow, David Yates managed to fuck this up, royally. This was my biggest gripe. Voldemort wasn't horrific and as scary as he was in the books. They made him boderline pathetic. And wasn't he supposed to be flying around the castle screaming?! Why did they make him whisper in the movie. That made no sense to me! I felt jipped haha. On top of it...what the fuck was up with Voldemort and Bellatrix crumbling when they were killed? that was stupid. Oh, and while we are on the topic of Bellatrix...seriously you could've added at LEAST a minute to that battle scene between her and Molly and it still wouldn't have been epic enough. Disappointment all over the board. Although the "not my daughter you BITCH" line was delivered amazingly and true to story!
Aside from these gripes and groans...if I hear one more person talk about how incredibly emotional it was, I am going to freak the fuck out. I mean, YES, there were emotional moments. YES, Snapes story was incredible and a tear jerker and YES Ron's face at the sight of his brother's corpse was sad. howFUCKINGever...why didn't we see any of these characters (that deserved SO much more than just a corpse scene) die? Am I the only one who thought that it sucked not seeing Tonks, Lupin, or Fred die?! And what the hell was up with Hagrid?!!?
Weak, weak, weak. I think its bizarre all around. I really am not a fan of David Yates at all. Like him even less after this past movie. That being said---I'll probably be going back to see it again next week.

so, there is this girl that used to work with us at Red Robin...shes always been a HUGE slut and annoying bitch that no one really likes. Anyways. So she moves on, has a couple kids...and then apparently left her 11 month old baby alone in the bathtub and the little poor darling drowns. her other kid gets taken away, and then she gets engaged a week later and plays croquet and blogs all about it on facebook. I can't stop thinking about it. Sooo sad. Not just for the poor angel who lost her life because her mum decided to go smoke a cigarette while her kid was in the tub, but for the other lil one who now is taken away from his entire family. I mean i suppose he is better off, but really, its not ever good for a child to be taken from it's mother. So, so, SO sad. James is my world. He is 2 1/2 and I still won't leave him alone in the tub. He could slip, bump his head, anything could happen. Not to be all holier than thou but seriously girl, what the fuck.

on a lighter note...I've been doing a lot of hanging out with old friends lately. I suppose its at the hand of my possibly failing marriage. Jared and I are lacking in anything to say to each other so i'm finding comfort in old friends. This is not such a bad thing. I really believe the universe is always unfolding as it should Fun times at Max's taphouse! 178 beers on tap...SO fun!
