I hope everyone had a good holiday! Mine went pretty well. I am finally starting to feel a bit better and not so sick and slugish! That's what I am excited about..

My health has been so up and down recently and I am trying to figure out what's going on with me. I was thinking is was a possible thyroid issue cause I have been feeling just really unhealthy, I have been sore all over, weight gain, lady issues, and such.. No fun but turns out no thyroid which is good! But now to figure out whats going on with me! I have gained 17 pounds in the last 4 months. I have been trying to read up on the whole Gluten free thing and might try it. Does anyone do it? Or have anything they would recommend for me to do.. I just want to feel healthy again. *sigh*

I have also heard it could be from stress and well let's face it all this court stuff with my sons father has not been fun so maybe it's just finally catching up to me?

Thanks for listening to the whole lady rant.
Xo

Talk to Tovi if you are thinking about the gluten free diet. She's a nutritional wiz kid when it comes to that stuff.

Hope you start feeling better soon!

Stress does the most unimaginable things to our bodies, and our souls. Gluten is a good direction to step in if that is what you feel called to do. Yoga might help. Here is a thought...... What if the Soul is meant to take the hurt that the Heart cant take? If that is the case then I think you need to go clear your auric body and recharge your Soul. IMO. <3

I've concluded that the gluten thing is just the latest fad idea that might actually affect about 0.1% of the people who think they have it. If you look, those are the same people who had the LAST thing, and will no doubt also have the NEXT thing...

Two years of court shit here...can do just about any damn thing to you. That's my vote.

Seriously - wouldn't pistols at dawn be more civilized and less stressful?

But of course there's no paycheck for the lawyers in that....

I even really liked that 2D flash version that someone made on the internet. I miss games that were just games and not "storytelling experiences" or whatever. What do you play on PSN? We should play some games.

If you've been really stressed then that would be my first guess re: health problems, but then I am not a doctor. At least you found out it wasn't thyroid. I know some people with thyroid problems and even with medication they always seem really swingy.

If nothing else, the gluten free "fad" has gotten a lot of people to take a look at what is in their food. It's unlikely to be what's causing your problems but it never hurts to give it a try. If you live in the right parts of the country, a gluten free diet is actually pretty easy.

If you're under a heavy load of stress then that's VERY likely to cause health issues. I'm certainly no expert in the subject but I know that stress can cause a whole host of psychosomatic problems in an otherwise healthy person.

In the end, best advice is to keep working with your doctor; the more potential causes you eliminate, the closer you are to nailing down the problem(s).

Hope you feel better soon.

Stress is a real motha f*cka! I've done the gluten free thing and it did help to make me feel like I was eating better. If it's stress related you just need a big woosah and like TwoDragons said pistols at dawn with the jerk causing the problems! kiss
