Just wanted to let you know I'm starting a campaign called Throw Parties in the Bin which is aimed at getting people to only go to parties aimed at giving proceeds to the homeless and underprivilaged . The campiagn starts in October in Australia . So if your interested in helping than please let me know all you have to is organise a event in your reigon and donate the proceeds from it to a homeless charity .

I've gone back home a couple of times since the storm. My place I had down there is completely gone. Both of my parens have places that survived. Took my mom almost a year to get back to living in New Orleans again.

I haven't been back since Christmas. Time to make another trip down there.

How is NOLA doing these days? I lived there through the last half of the nineties before I moved back to TX, but I keep wanting to go back for a visit and see how things are going post-Katrinawise.

my experience with wanderlust is that it comes in waves. which can make low tide just as unsettling as high.
