I fled from NO after the hurricane... hope you're doing well wherever you ended up. Good to see you're still in relatively good humor. Here's hoping Rita doesn't finish off what Katrina couldn't.

And being a refugee fucking sucks, doesn't it? I miss my kitties.

If he's smart he will. Sucks being LA now, I was Biloxi, Missippi in 2000, it was the hottest summer ever then, but I think a goddamned cat. 4 hurricane would be a lot worse. I was on Keesler Air Force Base from May till October of that year, and I'd have to say that seeing pictures of a place that I used to live in and love destroyed by that is horrible, not to mention I have friends that are in the air force and out since then that are from there. My buddy Ryan, his dad is oil rigger worker in the Gulf of Mexico, I haven't heard from him so that maybe a bad thing. Anyway, apparently you are okay and that is good.

hey, I have a question for you: I work on The Sopranos and we're putting together a benefit for on Oct.15 for the hurricane victims. I think we should be able to raise $100,000 or so. But we're looking into donating it DIRECTLY to people rahter than to the Red Cross. Or buying supplies and driving them down ourselves.

If there's any way we can help you or your family , please let me know. Ok?

my journal will have details as we get closet to the event.

Have you moved to some safe haven out of the hurricane's path ? If not , now would probably be a good time to hop a train and move to high ground .

P.S. That guy looks like he's FOURTEEN . Are you one of those internet stalkers that prowl chatrooms for unsuspecting youngsters ? If so , that is the luckiest minor in the ENTIRE world . DAMN , I wish I was fourteen again .
