this song has been in my head for days. i don't know why it keeps rattling around in there. i don't really get what it's about "come rub it on my belly like guava jelly"? is guava jelly some kind of belly love treatment? i dunno.


so today i'm gonna roll around singing about guava jelly, do some housework & errands, and go buy some fancy makeup with a giftcard from my momma. i want benetint, some lipvenom or one of their related products, and maybe some of this eye brightener. i mean, there are a million other products i'd like, but this gift card doesn't have infinite money on it (whaaaat?)

turnaround from my last entry: i rebooked my vancouver trip! i'll be there january 18-23. soooo excited to breathe that wet air and slink around in my favourite place, eating good veggie food and visiting friends i haven't seen for years. really! years! sad times, i tell you.

and more news: i'm moving back to sd, but not until next summer-ish. i have my first green-card interview on wednesday at the consulate here. yikes! i'm kinda nervy, cause i've never done anything official like that, but i know it will be fine. uproot is going back to san diego first, in a couple weeks, and when my card gets approved i'll be following. it's gonna be a long & lonely winter without him but i plan on filling the days by seeing my friends a lot & making lots of art.

i've been spending a lot of time with my #1 calgary lady lavonne and we're cooking up ideas for a new set for me. don't know when it'll happen but shit will be good.

recently i've had a spark of creativity regarding my wardrobe, and here are some of my favourite outfits to come from it. getting dressed is fun again!!
