4 1/2 more hours of work on my sleeve, it's coming together nicely. eventually i'll have good pictures, but i've been lazy this week and haven't transferred them to my computer yet:
so far, it adds up to 18 hours.... and it's not even close to done, haha.

it's kind of weird to be staying in watching a movie on saturday night, but i also kind of really like it . i'm finishing my accidental sleeve tomorrow and don't really feel like being tired or hungover (or any combination of those) for a 4 hour round trip drive + multiple hours of tattooings. i'm sure i will have lots more pictures tomorrow, but nothing new right now other than some gratuitous pictures of my puppy lula.

so i pretty much had the best weekend ever. meet lula (short for cholula):
she's a chihuahua terrier mix, 4-5 pounds, 4 months old, and just the sweetest puppy you'll ever meet.
right now she's playing with her little rope toy under my desk at work. we are bff.
oh and apparently her full name is Cholula Zapatos con Leche Concepcion. for those of you who don't speak spanish, that's "Hot Sauce Shoes with Milk" Concepcion. sugarkones came up with that, i don't ask questions, haha.

my little sister got her first tattoo when i was back home in ohio!
our dad is an astronomer so she wanted it to be three stars for three sisters, like orion's belt. here's her being cute and scared at the same time:
durb also did some more stars on me and my other younger sister - white chicks with gang signs ftw:
then i came home and went to santa barbara to finish up my forearm but instead wound up with a sleeve. whoops.
not done yet, hence why there's no pictures of the back. should be finished in a couple weeks... more elbow time, hooray!
okay, time to go home and ride bikes. yay for the weekend!

i got tattooed again yesterday, but i haven't uploaded any pics from my camera yet on account of not being able to bend my arm. here's a silly iphone picture:
i went in to finish my forearm but we decided that would look pretty dumb so we went up. a cover up on top of a cover up it is indeed. 4 1/2 hours... yowza. i look like popeye today, but i've come to terms with it. i also got some bro tatttttssss with my sisters when i was in ohio - durb did them!! pictures of that soon too... i know, i'm so lazy today. sorry.
and finally: i was away from my computer when my set went up and didn't have any time to check comments and tags and stuff til last night. ibtc, really? my mind, it is the boggled!!!

i'm going back to columbus next week - both my little sisters are graduating, one from college and one from high school. i'm incredibly excited for them, but in a way it's a little sad... we're all officially grown up now. anyway, i get to see all the ohio ladies while i'm there - hooray for havana!!!
oh yeah, and i have a new set in member review. clicky clicky to see me being the smart ass i am.
oh! and i've been baking a lot lately. my boyfriend thinks i'm secretly trying to fatten him up, but really, who can resist a tiny donut???
or how about an impossibly tall stack of silver dollar pancakes?
they're both vegan, too!! i've been getting lots of recipes from veganyumyum.com - i'll have some pictures of the blueberry muffins and hasperat later, just haven't been able to upload them yet. yes, hasperat is from star trek, and yes, we were TOTALLY those people that watched the episode while eating the sandwich.

this weekend was a weekend of firsts for me. here are some things i did for the first time ever:
- pet a lizard
- got a hole in one playing putt putt golf
- went to the driving range
- had lunch at real food daily (hollywood on a weekend?? why, i never!)
- watched a star trek movie without once opening my computer
- bought a pink bikini (i always hated pink until like... 9 days ago)
- won more than 100 tickets playing skeeball
i thought my list was longer than that, but hey it's a good start. here's some pictures in case reading isn't your thang:

this little guy sits on my wrist, and he's bringing some snacks to his little friend up by my elbow!! this is phase 2... or 3? i don't really know anymore, but there's still more to go... the stuff i already have on the inside of my arm needs reworked in a bad way, so that's next!
