A Frida Kahlo tribute! A sugar skull that looks like Frida with lots of flowers and some text that she wrote on one of her last paintings. My artist has been working on the piece but I haven't seen it yet.

It's a bit strange, the thought that talking about school and the boys you like would require the company of a specialist. If those are the topics most regularly broached by teen psychologists, as if they were the most important things to a teen, then that's easily the most condescending profession out there.

My guy wasn't really like that, though. We'd sit down, he wouldn't say anything, and then after a few minutes I'd blurt out something like, "So, my roommate got cats!"

If only your parents could have found someone closer to your age and more capable of relating to you, like the Doogie Howser of teen psychologists.

They probably could have gotten Neil Patrick Harris himself, actually, since I know he was having trouble finding work around that time.
