FUUUUUUUUCCCCKKK!
I fucking hate my school. They are the most inept set of idiots ever!
Not only did they organize graduation ceremonies ridiculously late, they also books a much smaller venue than last year, for a much larger graduating class! So now when I should have had 8 tickets (as they did last year for my boyfriend's graduation) I could only get 2! My family is already booked to be coming to this! I'm so upset right now. I mean I was worried when a May graduation hadn't even confirmed the time or the graduation until mid April. I didn't even get my gown or invitations until last week.
They said that they booked the smaller venue because they had too many complaints about the location last year. Well what kind of complaints are expecting this year when nearly half the graduating students walking, that needed more tickets, couldn't get enough.
I'm thinking about just not walking at all and spending the day with my family. This is so ridiculous.
And the worst part is that this school does poorly planned things like this all the time!
I am not a happy camper right now.

Something interesting must have been going on while I was taking pics. I have no idea where I'm looking. Probably at AIM
I should zoom in on the reflections in my eyes to find out.
The Wondercon post!
So this weekend I was delighted to attend Wondercon here in San Francisco. This year I was able to attend all three days. I had a great time hanging out with Dino, Cate, Maddigan, Serial, Tita, Bob, Squeak, Nixon, Cherry, Mandalay, Quinne, and Dice. Special thanks to ViquiV for running such a wonderful booth and generally being amazing!
I'm going to re-state some things in my last post just to keep everything together.
Pics from day 1 of Wondercon!
Cock Blocking Chris_Gore

Serial, Cate, Dino, Me
The super cure cock Block is by my friend Andy at Stitchmind Artworks.

Dino and R3X

I tried to snap a sneaky pic of Lou Ferrigno but he totally caught me.

Tita

I totally got my picture taken with Adam Baldwin, who was super nice even though I was a bumbling nervous geek.
Day 2!
I love Saturday at the Con because everyone wears their awesome costumes!

Gigantic bobble-head-ish Alien

Super amazingly tall Bumblebee

Cate and Dino posing with some bounty hunters

Mandalay posing with two very awesome Klingons

Me as Triana Orpheus posing next to a beautiful Molotov Cocktease. Go Team Venture!

Bob in her super cute Wall-E costume posing with a fully movable hand-made R2D2.

All of us ditching the booth to babysit R2D2 while the owner went to the restroom. Of course we took the opportunity to take pictures with it.

Cute group shot!!!
(l to r) Serial, Maddigan, Cate, Dino, Bob, Squeak
I didn't go to a single panel on day two. The only ones I wanted to go too were way to packed to get into. Of course it's because Jake Gyllenhaal and Milla Jovovich were there. Which is fine because I got to wander around with Dino and Cate shopping for a bit on the floor.
Day 3!
I actually got into the Panels I wanted to see this time! I caught the end of Human Target just in time to see the questions with Jackie Earl Haley and Mark Valley. The fan questions for the panels were amazingly good. So good that I think they must have been screening the fans before letting them get to the mic.

Immediately after that was the Chuck Panel. They weren't going to do anything more than a question and answer, but apparently at the last minute decided to play the newest, tonight's, episode of Chuck for the audience. IT WAS SO GOOD!
After that Zachery Levi, Joshua Gomez and Adam Baldwin answered yet another set of amazing on topic and well thought out fan questions. I love the group dynamic those guys have. Zachery Levi and Joshua Gomez are admitted video game geeks and loved the atmosphere. They were cracking jokes the whole time. It was one of the best panels I've ever been to at Wondercon ever.

After the end of the Con a bunch of us packed up and headed over to Samovar Tea Lounge for some tasty food and tea.

Bob giving me the thumbs up.

Arik apparently confused as to why I wished to document his eating.

Dice and Cate looking cute.
I also got the pleasure of hanging out with the girls while Cherry shot a set for Dino on Saturday night.

Also, me looking like a total douchbag holding my con swag

All in all a great weekend meeting lots of members and people!
More pics at my flickr.

P.S. Dino looks super cute sleeping on my fold out couch.

I have a new set going up on Zivity today! Be sure to check it out!
I, along with many other beautiful SG's, will be at Wondercon this weekend. Come hang out with us! We're at booth #743.
I'm super excited!
Check out my Etsy for some steampunk lockets that I made. I hope I can sell a few more so I can get new supplies to make new stuff! It's a cycle and I have some really great ideas to get out.
I just got my new assignment for the rest of the semester and I have to say I'm actually excited. It's a group project, which is awesome because my creativity thrives with bouncing ideas off of people, and we're re-branding The Body Shop! I can totally be down with this. Something actually fun!
And for visual interest here's a recent pic.

Well since my bike wheel was stolen a few days ago, I've been working hard getting some new necklaces complete for my etsy shop!
They are now done, so I have 13 new items for sale!

gunmetal gears locket

Tiny gears jar

Filigree Heart Locket 1

Gunmetal Gears Heart Locket small
and more!
I'm also selling a lot more stuff in the SG Sales group!
1 week until wondercon! I can't wait!

Today I made this for Wondercon next weekend,

Just need to make a mini skirt and my Triana Venture outfit will be complete!
Also today I cleaned my living room in preparation for Dino who is staying with me next weekend!
I still have to clean the rest of my house but I'm happy that she's giving me an excuse to make me do it, even though she probably doesn't care.
I'm currently on spring break so I got to enjoy a night day out with some SGSF members on Sunday drinking and watching The Runaways. I really enjoyed the movie and fully recommend it. They did a great job with the mood and lighting and the acting was actually really well done (for the most part).
Some asshole stole my bike tire and helmet the other day. I'm just really glad they didn't get the whole bike, but I'm now $250 out because I had to replace everything and buy another U lock.
So I listed even more stuff to sell in the SG sales group. Check it out!
I also completed the main part of 13 new necklaces for my etsy. shop. I'm just waiting on some chain to be shipped to me so I can get them done and up online!
I still have some schoolwork to do this week, but so far I've been enjoying lounging around in the sun, exercising, and eating good food.

I'm pretty much in love with my hair right now.

I'm pretty much in love with this woman
I'm pretty much in love with the fact that I'm down to 112 lbs. Which means I've lost 13 lbs since my heaviest weight, which was just a few months ago.
I'm also pretty much in love with Trader Joe's. Nom Nom nom nom nom!
There is plenty that I'm not in love with at the moment, but I wanted to keep this blog positive.
