Also, Thursday I was a sexy little girl.
It was the final official night of MEAT. I'm super sad. Thankfully they'll still do random MEAT vs. DeathGuild nights, which will be fun, but I'm going to miss my monthly go-go dancing.
I got hit by a car while riding my bike a couple days ago. I must admit, it is one of the scariest things I've ever been through. And I didn't even fall off my bike, or get injured. I can't imagine the fear one must have as they are hurtling through the air with worse crashes. Or the fear of being stunned, carried away, probably in pain, in an ambulance.
My heartbeat didn't go down for about 15 minutes.
But I'm fine. My bike is fine. No dents, damage, bends, bruises, scratches, or broken anything on either. Not even a little soreness.
Every day I almost get hit by some jackass who isn't paying attention. I've almost been side-swiped, turned into, hit head on, reversed into, and doored. But I never have, until two days ago. I'm generally a safe bicyclist. I try really hard to follow the rules, so that I don't die. I stop at lights and signs. I ride on the correct side of the road, in the bike lane if there is one. I watch for pedestrians. I signal, use my lights, and look before turning.
And two days ago, I waited my turn in a round-about, was already inside the circle, when some dude decides to leave his stop sign early and drive directly into me. If I hadn't seen him and swerved hard, I would have been up on his hood, and subsequently under his wheels, or out in the road. But it was at low speed, I had a good reaction time. I screamed, I dodged, and I was fine.
And I am very very very thankful that I am.

Still selling my jewelry on Etsy. Wish I had more time to work on more, but job hunting is taking that up.
I died my hair black.
It's weird. It's been years since I've had a natural color. But I do like it. Definitely goes well with more of my clothes.

Everybody is up in arms over the new Twitter/Facebook buttons here on SG. I'm super surprised that people didn't realize how public their info really is, and has been.
I will admit there have been a couple good points on why the buttons are a detriment to SG as a community, but for the most part, I think the change is just keeping up with what's hot on the web. I'm surprised they didn't do it sooner. You can take steps to protect your own journals by simply making them members only. If you haven't been doing that, your journals have been public this whole time.
I'm super happy about weekend sets right now! SG is featuring darker, artier, creative, and maybe less popular or commented on sets of the day now! Our voices have been heard and now more creative sets are getting the spotlight! It's been a long time coming. So many drab boring samey sets have been going up. A few gems get through, but for the most part a girl next door with good photography has been the standard on SG lately. And many girls who would otherwise do more creative sets have been playing it safe in hopes that their set will get bought. Thankfully staff has listened and now the edgier sets are getting some love!
My hair is getting long now! It's now right at shoulder length! I can't wait until it gets to boob level. I want long lovely hair again. Until of course I decide to hack it all off again sometime.

I'm really happy to be done finally. And now I'm looking for jobs! Lets hope I can get one that uses all mys skills so I can build my portfolio more.

I've been enjoying playing Red Dead Redemption lately. As soon as I've finished the game I might move on to ODST. We'll see.
I've been making fancy things for my etsy.
I made 3 of these little shoulder urchins. 2 will be for sale as soon as I get more pictures of them.
I'm also working on some fun things involving zippers!
The weather has been amazing. Yesterday was so warm I could barely do anything but lounge around in my underwear in front of the fan when I got off of work. Today was way cooler and much more enjoyable. So I lounged around in my underwear more and ate delicious refrigerated fruit.
I'm itching to shoot another self shot set. I just need some cute underwear and some time. Both of which I may be able to get very soon!
