I got many ideas for many Halloween costumes... But we don't celebrate Halloween here (apart from very few Halloween parties), so I never got to use these ideas.
I plan to one day go to the US and participate in a true Halloween celebration!
Anyway, enjoy Halloween!

Hey salty witch glad you liked the blog pics. That cabin is one of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club cabins. There are some up in PA! They are really cheap to rent but you gotta reserve in advance.
Yeah great shows here in DC recently! And EARTH is here this month! <3 Also The Sword, and Red Fang soon. Will have to triage, can't afford em all Really hoping Neurosis shows up on the east coast sometime soon...

Unfortunately, yes - we don't celebrate Halloween.
Overall, Halloween isn't part of our culture...
Halloween day over here is called "Dia do Saci" (or, translated, Saci's Day). Saci is a character from the brazilian folklore... But we don't really celebrate it here - we don't have parties based on Saci's Day or traditions like people wearing costumes and kids going trick-or-treating in Halloween. Maybe one day we'll be truly celebrating Saci's Day...
But one day I'll definetly go to the US and take part in a true Halloween celebration, that's for sure!

thanks for your supportive and understanding words! it did indeed work out fine, she's pretty understanding and awesome you're totally right about everything you said about the distance too. i just finished the move a few hours ago now, we'll see how it goes!
as for Nadja, i never have and never *would* attempt to try to keep up with all the releases... what caught my attention to this particular one though, is that the former drummer from Jesus Lizard plays on it... and while i like some of the dronier Nadja stuff, the drumming makes this particular release more my speed
