In response to Dafunk's (incredibly unfair I might add!) accusation of hoarding comments, I'm being forced to update my journal today!

SO...here's whats been going on...

Mother dearest is here at the moment, staying with my auntie, but she came and stayed with me a few days last week (as I said in my last journal entry) so I was hanging out with her and so couldnt check the site or anything
She's coming again tonight tho so thats why I thought I'd best update now

Have also now got not only one, but TWO new jobs (and I'm still not done uni til next tues ) so I've been working my arse off recently and theres yet more hours to come arrgrghh! I dont think I've ever worked this much in my entire life haha! Its all abit crazy, but I need to save money to go to Montreal in June and England in August, so I have to keep focused on that and itll all be ok...I hope

In between all this, I still have to try and go out at some point, which I actually managed to last night, when Hen and I decided to go for a random dinner/drink to celebrate our brilliant idea that she should move into my BACHELOR apartment with me next month for a couple of months! LOL. She was having a big stress about where to live cuz she needs somewhere cheaper but it seems pointless to move now cuz she's going back to UK for the summer anyway, so we figured this was we'll both save money for a couple of months and also hopefully itll give us a kick up the arse with regards to making music. WHICH IS NOW ACTUALLY POSSIBLE!!! cuz I went mental the other week and bought a load of stuff for my computer, so we now have everything we could possibly need to create...wahooo! Its quite daunting but very exciting too....I just hope we dont end up wanting to kill each other!

So yeah, last night was actually really really fun, which I think again proves my theory that spontaneous nights always turn out the best (well for me at least, Paull knows all about my little "issues" ) We went for dinner in a funky bar that reminded me of a club we used to go to back home, Po Na Na, and the "one" drink we promised ourselves slowly turned into..um...5! 2 of which were free shots from the barmen tho, so how could we possibly refuse?!

So I got home, made the usual drunken phone call to Paull at work went to sleep about 2am and had to get up at 7am for my first day of training at my new job as a receptionist in a hairdressers! It was all good tho, I'm surprisingly not as knackered as I thought I'd be....I must be getting hardcore LOL.

But now, I'm off to buy a fish (for my wee lil cousin's bday prezzie) so I better love you and leave you all for now.

Sorry about the uber long (probably incredibly boring) journal entry!

UPDATE: Mon 22nd March

Wheeee! SG knickers etc came in post today! I must be psychic cuz I was thinking today, "I bet they'll come when my mums here (shes coming tomorrow) and she'll be like, "OoO whats that?" and I'd be like "Uuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrr"! So thats good and of course I was excited so I just took some pics of me in them which are in my candids. Oh yeah and the fact that shes coming prolly means I wont be able to check this for a few days..boo

ALSO, a new addition to my candids today is the premiere of a little mini-set not many of you, in fact NONE of you know about yet! Oh they may jest about it, but little did Paull and Jonny know that I've already got my cheeky little hands on their trial set for the Suicide Boys, entitled, "Gaylords Uncovered! So everybody hop on down to my candids and check out the bwuoys flexin' their sex! AND give them a big welcome to the site everyone!

I never thought I would say this, but I LOVE working in a restaurant! I've only worked 3 shifts of my new job so far, but its nuthin at all like the 2 waitressing jobs I had in the UK when I was younger so its going really really well and I'm super happy about it

As I said before, my best friend (who is the only other person I know here who likes drum and bass) has gone back to Angleterre for a couple of weeks, so I was forced to go to the world of drum and bass tour on my ownsome Mon night! It was worth going tho, and I didnt have to pay so thats a bonus! I sent a cheeky email to Formation records to ask about being guestlisted and got one bk from Dj ss saying yeah, so I went and the woman on the door was trying to tell me i wasnt on there so I was thinking arrrgh not again! (this has happened to me before & I feel like such a twat) But then this guy looked at my email (yes I'm a geek I printed it off just in case) and he was like "well thats from SS so shes set." I was like yes mate I rrrock! muhahAHAHAHa I was a very happy bunny despite being alone, the music was wikkid, got abit pissed and danced my wee arse off.

Going to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on Sat, and hopefully Franz Ferdinand on Weds, but (typical!) I've been scheduled to work that night so I dunno. Hopefully itll be as quiet as tonight was and they'll send me home early again so I can go.

Mmm what else...My mum's coming to visit next week (yey!) so hopefully that means I can get some money to buy music equipment finally hurrah!

P.S. Paull chicken I still cant believe u asked some girl if she was pregnant and she said "no I'm just fat" cuz she wasnt! stink! bless ur little heart

Oh my God! I had THE worst awakening EVER this morning!

...Ok, so maybe it wasn't the worst EVER, but it was pretty rude! I've been finding it hard enough as it is to get up in the morning recently, and this morning was no different. I didnt wake up til my alarm was having a complete and utter spaz, at which point I sat up as fast as I could in panic (that I was going to be late AGAIN) but in my bleary eyed state I veered in completely the wrong direction and promptly whacked my head so hard against the wall I swear it bounced off! So then of course I was so traumatised I thought I couldnt possibly go into uni for my 9:30 tutorial and had better have another hour and a half sleep to recover

I did make it in for my stage management class in the afternoon though, which I was quite proud of seeing as you couldnt really describe it as a "class," but more of a session where we all sit around listening to our prof telling crusty anecdotes about his own working life in the Theatre

After that I felt the need to go shopping (wait! its not as exciting/frivolous as it sounds!) as I needed to buy a black shirt for the new restaurant job I'm starting on Sat. Of course I did have to treat myself to the obligatory strawberry bubble tea also Oh and then I got a phone call from another job I applied for which is at a very funky new shoe shop thats opening and I've got an interview next Friday so I was incredibly pleased about that. I just hope I get it cuz I've been trying to get a retail job for the daytime and a restaurant job for evenings for ages, so then my world will be perfect. Well, almost.

Wish I was going back to England for a visit like my friend Helen is on Sunday (BITCH!!! haha)

World of Drum and Bass tour, here I come...alone! Fuck I feel like abit of a loser but what the heck, my best mate has gone back to England and shes the only other person I know here who loves D n' B! So what can a girl do but be forced to go on my tod! Wish me luck... x

Yippity yippity yip yip!!!

As you can prolly tell I'm in a pretty good mood today - touch wood things seem to be on the up at the moment and the last few days have been quite interesting/productive.

I FINALLY gots me a new job on Thurs, I've been stressing myself out over the last few weeks cuz the company I work for is going bankrupt, so I was frantically dropping resumes everywhere and it seems SO DAMN HARD to get a job in this city!!!grrrrr But yeah so thats sorted now anyways by the sheer luck of a guy who came into the shop asking what we were all gonna do about jobs, and sheer cheek on my part for asking if that meant he had any jobs to give us? Luckily for me the answer was yes!

Then the next night my extra agent (for film and telly work) phoned me up with a last minute job offer for the next day, so I managed to weedle my way out of my proper job and did that on Sat which was pretty fun! It was for a BMW advert and I was just sposed to be one of the people in the crowd at a baseball game haha!(I'm not a "proper" actor yet) But oh well it was more fun than doing real work and I got to talk to some pretty cool people who gave me a lot of info/advice about acting/headshots/agents and such, and also about starting your own business!!!?! Two very different subjects I know, but 2 little bumble bees I've had in my bonnet for a while now.

Watched a dvd "Once Upon a Time in the Midlands" with my mate Hen last night, it was pretty funny, but ohhh did it make me yearn for the dirt and grime of good old England again *sigh* (and I'm not being sarcastic, it really did make me miss the UK!)

Work was alright today but the highlight was a customer coming in and I prolly had the longest chat to him that I've ever had with a customer! But we ended up talking about music and lotsa stuff to do with that and hopefully he's gonna be able to play a role in helping mine and Hen's musical ambitions to come true eventually! I'm feeling very blessed at the moment and like I'm a sponge soaking up info from all these people! So thanx whoever's out there making these things happen!

Sooooo, hello everyone, havent really got that much to say at the moment, as obv no-one knows me yet so wont have a clue what I'm goin on about if I start writing random stories about my shenanigans... Also I'm abit ill today so nothing happened, except that I skived uni, and I passed my driving theory test yay! Ohhh, and I screwed some hooks into the wall in my flat cuz I'm obsessed with Ikeaness and making it look purrrdy and I'm not really sure if I'm supposed to be doing stuff like that cuz i'm just renting but I thought oh f*ck it I will anyway...but then when I was screwing away one of them suddenly kinda like, popped something in the wall and then went in super easily! So I was shitting myself for about the next hour worrying that the wall was gonna explode/fall down but I think its ok!

Obviously I did have something to say I'm finished now tho, buhbyyye
