So- how about a more proper update, and less of a creepy limerick?
How have you all been?? How's life treating you?
I am doing good - bought a house- well condo... but still, it's mine- which is a good feeling.
My little man is awesome - he'll be 4 in May...and I had the big 30 birthday last year.
I seriously got wrapped up in the fact that I was leaving my 20s forever...it was hard for me- I don't know why...I don't fear aging...but for some reason 30 scared the shit out of me.
Now that I am officially 30 and half I am feeling better about things... and for all you young whipper snappers out there - here are some things you have to look forward to when you reach the milestone of 30.
1. Increased sex drive (for women)
seriously- I am like a lil rabbit all of the sudden
2. The ability to have multiple orgasms-
now, I don't know if this is because of number 1, or just some strange conincidence - but seriously - amazing...it's like a new world...a world of repeated joy
3. The ability to drink and hold the liquor-
not that I was ever a really sloppy drunk - but I had my moments... but now...when I do get the chance to go out and have a few drinks...for some reason, I am wiser and more able to pace myself, get drunk, but not be a waste of life in the morning
4. I am way cooler now...
no really I am - this is my reasoning: in my 20s I was trendy, up on fashion, street culture, music, movies and crap like that... but so was everyone else.. Now that I am in my 30s - I look around at the other people in their 30s that I work with and I definitely stand out more as being more with it...I don't know why - but for some reason I didn't drink the 30 year old Kool Aid and start wearing mom jeans or feathering my hair and doing the roger rabbit at bars (you think I am exaggerating...but seriously you haven't seen what I see)
5. I just don't give a shit...
I always said I didn't - but part of me did... for some reason I have completely stopped caring what others think - and have been able to just move forward and enjoy some of the things in life that I never wanted to admit I loved,,,like
The Girls Next Door, or America's Next Top Model, or curling irons, or using lard instead of butter
6. My taste buds have changed - and my food options have expnded
I used to be much pickier about food - I don't know why, but I find myself eating and loving all sort of different things..like snapper, pollenta, goat cheese, melon
Anyways - please write to me and let me know how all of you are doing - and any other fellow 30 year old people - I'd love to hear if you had anything change for you when you moved out of your 20s...
AND - I think I may post some pictures soon -just for fun...and for your enjoyment...

It's been a while...
I am the proud new owner of a Mac - so I'll be able to make a little video soon - that is exciting no? I also am slowly learning the joys of the mac over the PC...I
also - been having some intense tooth issues and am going through a many phased root canal process...and sadly - much to my dismay every negative side effect listed on the bottle of vicodin occurs when yours truly takes it
*sigh*
On a happier note...my newest piece is coming along swimmingly...take a look:
One more sitting and this shizz is done! Getting some pretty colors and exciting background added...

Going camping this weekend - it is supposed to be ballllz hot around here, so we'll see how long we last out there in the blazing heat...

He WAS Allston.
I can't tell you how many times he walked my drunk ass home in my early 20's.
He was a characater, an entertainer, an unforgettable face, and one of the things I love(d) most about where I've lived for most of the past 10 years.
