I often feel overwhelmed by the amount of shit I accumulate.
It got easier for me after I moved many times (a couple times very short notice) to let stuff go. I started thinking about the boxes that never got unpacked & if i would really miss the shit that was in them if it was gone. So I've been gradually narrowing down the boxes of shit I have each time I move. One day I hope to have so little shit I can pack up my little van & go with maybe a days notice.
