Moving makes me realize I own too much shit.
I deal with getting rid of things by documenting them one last time.
How to you cope with throwing your material objects into a trash pile?
You are seriously the cutest thing ever! I love following you on twitter. Maybe instead of throwing them away, donate them or sell them.
Like I said on twitter your smile is contagious
You're hilarious. Thanks for putting a smile on my face on this otherwise dreary wet sick day.
As far as moving day = I have too much shit? Very yes. I can donate most of the clothes I no longer need and/or don't fit me anymore, but I have tons of other things like books and poetry journals and the like that I can never part with. Urgh!
How are you going to do it?
Oh and where are you moving to?
Every once and a while I have a purification ritual where I just throw away almost everything.
It seems nice at first, then usually something will happen where I'm like, you know what would be PERFECT for this situation?
Oh yeah, that thing I threw out a week ago.
Every time.
I send the books and software to GIs overseas. The clothing I take to the local teen shelter. The tools and mechanical bits that I cannot part with, they stack up.
Girl, you rock my world in so many different ways !, check my blog! I wish I could be u'r friend. And about the stuff... I am the worst getting rid of things... I just piled them... and piled them.. and piled them... and there is an insanely huge pile of junk in Bolivia with my name.
have a good one!
