Today I drove back to Sac from Redding. It is a very long drive. A very long boring drive.

Christmas with my family was nice and less painful than I expected. I really thought I was going to return a mere husk of my former self like I usually do when I spend more than a couple of minutes with my family, but I'm only mildly depressed. Progress!

Speaking of Christmas, I am now the proud owner of a wok, a coffee maker, pink leopard print thermals, and a ball winder and swift. Plus three skeins of sport weight purple yarn. Pretty much the best Christmas haul ever. I now need to start chipping away at my stash. So I can buy more yarn. And ball it.

In other news, I have the most boring cam on chat. I am knitting the most boring shawl in history which makes for a boring cam. But I think someone is naked with someone else and they are totally doing it. Or something.

Next day update (because this is really kinda freaking me out.) I just found yarn that I do not remember owning. It's been balled on a ball winder. It was in a bag that contained birthday presents 2 months ago. I only got a ball winder two days ago so I didn't ball it. Where the hell did this yarn come from?
