The weather here in LA is insanely hot. And the AC in my car does not work. True story: I actually drove home from work in my undies on Wednesday because I was dying in my car.
Luckily, the air conditioning in my apartment works quite well. I've been watching a lot of netflix this weekend. I watched a whole series of the Benson Interruption (hilarious). I also watched an older Johnny Depp film called "Dead Man." It was so good; an old-Western type movie; very eery and yet funny. I loved it. I've also been watching "The Tudors". It is worth watching for the amazing sex scenes and fantastic wardrobe alone.
Matt and I went to Pasadena today and bought a ton of new art supplies. I'm going to go utilize those next to the air conditioner. Have a great weekend SG land!

Matt got this rad Chap Koeplinger tattoo at Ink & Iron. Anyone who gets the 30 Rock reference gets 100 million cool person points.
I've been a domestic goddess lately. I made brownies (from the box, delicious, but unimpressive) and Ghiradelli chocolate chip cookies. I made them with whole grain flour, which I was a little nervous about; but they turned out absolutely wonderful and yummy. I swear by the high quality chocolate and unsalted butter.
Favorite nail polish of the week:
Favorite wine of the week. A light bubbly Pinot Grigio, really yummy chilled.
It was Matt's birthday, so we went to the beach in Malibu and it was lovely.
I love this hot summer weather. It is way too warm to wear a bra, right? Can you see my tan lines? I got burned at the beach. The sun is really strong, I swear I put sunscreen all over.

I think we can all agree that morning sex is the best thing on earth. That is definitely the best reason I know to live with a boy.
Other things I've been enjoying lately:
-I finished a good book, called "Behold a Pale Horse" by William Cooper. The author is an ex-high ranking military official who has stories scary enough to make you want to go hide in a cave--conspiracy theory stuff. I do recommend it; if nothing else, it is a different way to look at the world and society around you.
-Good weed. I love living in California.
-"1000 Ways to Die" is a TV show I've been semi-obsessed with. They explain the science behind strange deaths. It's really cheesy but I like it. Like the last episode I saw featured a woman whose bad quality breast implants exploded on a airplane and killed her. Sad/weird stuff.
I was browsing tumblr a few days ago and I ran across this picture of me with thousands of comments on it. The weird part is that I don't know who took the picture, or when they took it.
