After 3 wonderful years in LA, my fiance and I moved halfway across the country, back to my home state of Wisconsin. Here's the general route we took:

We hired movers to deal with the big stuff. Our best friend Keith flew out just to drive across the country with us. It was me, 2 boys, 2 cars, and 2 dogs on a roadtrip.

We left LA in the afternoon. Ate at Vivian's one last time...
First stop, Las Vegas! The drive itself is pretty cool, lots of pictures--mostly taken by Keith.
Anyways, I booked us a rad, dirt cheap room at the Golden Nugget. (Which I'd highly recommend by the way. The strip is cool, but Old Vegas is really fun too. And the Nugget is newly renovated and swanky.)
We ate at the buffet, got stared at by old people, gambled a few dollars, explored Fremont street, and drank a little.
We had our dogs with us and that was a little awkward because there was no where to take them outside. The people at the hotel were really nice and didn't give us any grief, which was good because I was really worried it would be an issue.
After Vegas party time, it was all business. Driving through the mountains is pretty serious business. You have run-away trucks, cliffs, steep grads, falling rocks, sharp curves, crazy drivers...We survived.
The scenery was epic, breath taking.
From Nevada to Arizona to Utah to Colorado, the rocks and soil range in every color from grey to yellow to gold to corral to deep red to violet-grey to chocolate brown.
I'm finally sort of settled at my amazing new townhouse. It's huge--3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 car garage, deck and a yard--and cheaper than our 1 bedroom in LA (hahahahah). There's woods across the street with a little trail that I can walk the dogs on. It's paradise basically. Since moving back, I've been super busy--getting moved in, hanging out with friends and family, getting my home office set up, wedding planning as usual (aka procrastinaing wedding planning). A few photos:
I'll update again soon. xoxo ![]()
First of all, THANK YOU SG!!! for getting my new set Water & Ink on front page. I can't even tell you how happy I was; it made my month! Thank you everyone for all the lovely comments and support--you are the best.
It has been raining on and off all day here, even some thunder. I love rainy days; so cozy. It was so difficult getting out of bed, I just want to curl up with my book (2nd book of the Hunger Games, which I am currently obsessed with) and never leave. What's your favorite rainy day activity?
As usual, I've been crazy busy. Next time I blog on here, I will be living half way across the country. I'm so excited. I don't have any exciting updates, just a few photos.
But I am really going to miss Los Angeles. The perfect weather. The palm trees. The ocean. And especially the food...
I've been indulging A LOT. I don't know when I'll see good tacos again. I swear, Wisconsin Mexican food is the worst.

But I gotta stay tight too, I spend a little time at the gym. I'm a treadmill/elliptical/stationary bike kind of girl.

My neighbors have been silently arguing about dog poop. It's hilarious. (I side with the stern "Pick up yo shit" sign maker. People are just lazy and gross in my opinion.)

My boo drew this--I love it-- under boob AND side boob!

Happy Easter...

I did a little traditional Sailor Jerry topless mermaid.

I made cupcakes using Tita's recipe; they were so yummy.

Hi.

And bye.
I'll have a monster blog full of awesomeness very soon. Stay tuned.
xoxo, Rachelle

I love showering; on some of these winter days, its the only time I feel really warm.
I've been a busy bee as usual.
I've been preparing to move cross country. The movers are coming in about a month to take all the big stuff. Then Matt, the puppies and I will follow in our cars.

I'm really anxious about the move and I'm already missing LA. I've been eating tacos almost daily because I know there will be a major good-Mexican-food-drought once I get to Wisconsin. I wish I could take the palm trees and nearly perfect weather with me too...
Has anyone else driven across the States before? The last time we did it, we had way too much fun--like lucky-we-were-not-arrested-fun. We'll (probably) behave this time. I'm looking forward to the adventure and praying my old car (a '99 Pontiac) can hold up.
I need a new laptop--any suggestions? Is there anything superior to a Mac book? I need something dependable and fast.
A few random webcam pics. With boobs, of course...

I finished another painting...

Palisade7 painted me, I'm so honored because I'm a huge fan of his work. He has a delicate, beautiful, and colorful style. He's so talented; make sure you go check out the rest of his stuff in the Fan Art group.

Thank you thank you thank you thank you for all the love on my new set Water & Ink, shot by Milloux. You all are really the best--some of the comments are so thoughtful and sweet--I can't thank you enough for making me feel so pretty naked.

I shot another set with Seahorse a few weekends ago. We shot it at a really cool house in Hollywood. I saw the unedited photos and they turned out really awesome. Should be coming to member review sometime later this year.

And I got to meet Pandie SG--She's so gorgeous!!

I'll write again soon. Have a wonderful week everyone!!
First of all, thank you so much for all the love and amazing comments on my new set, Water and Ink. You all really know how to make a girl feel good.

In the last week, I sold a painting before I even finished it. The internet is a wonderful thing, isn't it?
I usually draw & paint a few hours a day after work. Here's my latest:

Other than work, painting, getting naked and general awesomeness, I've been enjoying the strangely summer-like "winter" we are having here in LA. It's chilly in the morning, but by noon, you can wear shorts. What's your winter been like?

I'll write again soon.
xoxoxoxo!!
Dang, I've been busy lately.
You know how it goes, work, work, work, planning a cross country move (which I'm getting pretty excited about), planning a wedding (ecstatic about this), house-hunting, among other things.
This past month, I had visitors from Wisconsin; it was rad--I love hostessing. Plus our visitors were amazing visitors, great friends. Lots of chilling, smoking, eating, drinking, and painting.
I've hardly been online lately, but I always have to stop by SG and see what's going on. There's so much sexiness in member review right now. It's so good to see Milloux on front page today, every set she does is perfection. Besides being drop dead gorgeous, Milloux's an amazing photographer. The set we shot a few weeks ago is going up soon. It's pretty cool--you know I like to do watercolors, so we did a painting theme.

I've been doing a little painting, as usual. Here's a few things I've been working on:

Random obsession as of late: Nutella. I would eat my car if you put some Nutella on it. I made chocolate cupcakes with Nutella swirled and baked into the tops. So good!

My friend and I went to the Annenberg Space for Photography in West LA to see the Digital Darkroom exhibit. It was amazing. You should probably go if you live in LA, plus it's free and in a really huge, fancy building that's roaming with handsome men in suits. Anyways...

Topless twins-

Unfortunately, I usually wear a lot of clothes. It's cold at work. Most of my coworkers have no idea I have a ton of tattoos.

Alright loves, see you soon.

If you've been following the epic saga of my foot injury (ha!), my toe is pretty much all healed up. I took my dog for a 2 mile walk yesterday and had no swelling or pain. I'll be running again in no time.
I'm sorry I haven't been very active on here lately. My life is kind of insane right now. I have big, life-changing news. I'm going to be moving to Wisconsin, my home state, in the next few months. I'd rather not discuss reasons on my blog. I love LA to death and there are so many things that I'm going to miss. I'm a little heart broken over the whole thing, but it's the right thing to do for me right now.
So in the mean time, I'm stuck in this weird limbo of waiting to move. And there's a billion things I need to do to move across the country--save $$, figure out what to do with all my belongings, secure a condo or townhouse in Wisco (oh the beauty of cheap real estate in Wisconsin-I can afford a mansion there basically), etc.
The whole moving-cross-country thing is pretty stressful to say the least. I feel lucky because a lot of things are just falling into place, but I'm sure there will be bumps along the way. If anyone has any good advice, I'm all ears.
So besides planning my wedding

As you may remember, the amazingly talented and beautiful Milloux and I shot a set recently. It encompasses my two favorite things--painting and getting naked. It's queued for March, hope you all love it.

So you know I get my money's worth out of my netflix subscription......I saw a documentary about Lyme's disease, called Under Our Skin. To be honest, it scared the shit out of me. It talks about how the insurance companies don't want to pay for the expensive treatment and doctors are scared to treat it outside of the insurance company's guidelines.
The long term effects of the disease--mostly neurological-- are frightening to say the least. In the movie there were young, normal people with crippling pain, unable to walk because the disease invades the joints and brain. What was most striking was the fact that the vast majority of the doctors were unwilling to treat the patients, they kept telling them they were "imagining" their symptoms. I can't imagine how scary that would be, to have no one believe you. The health care system can be scary in this country.
My boo took me to see DJ Skrillex last night, it was fun; lots of dancing.

I'm like a minute away from being done with this painting. The best part about finishing a painting is getting to start a new one.

I love these little boys, and take way too many photos of them:

In other news, I'm all giddy today because I just bought my wedding dress. $95 on ebay, FTW! It's totally gorgeous, I've been looking for months. You'll have to be patient for photos, it's going to be a few months still.
Have a good week everyone! xoxoxo

Milloux came over to my tiny apartment and we shot it in my living room. It was raining and I was worried that the lighting would be too dark; but it cleared up and we were fine. Milloux is so fun and talented. I'm so excited to see how the set turns out. Stay tuned.
I've been married to my job lately. It is very time and energy consuming. But, as always, I have squeezed in some fun and a little relaxation too lately...
I love the kitchen. I made a minestrone soup for the first time. The recipe was from my friend's grandfather, who brought it over from Italy. It was really easy to make and turned out really good.

Matt bought me new toys.

I'm currently working on this:

Just finished this: (Picture is kind of blurry, but you get the idea.)

The good stuff.

Matt took a ton of pictures of me and my dog, Ghostface cuddling. He's such a little model, so precious. Here's a few of the pics:

I stumbled upon the show Workaholics in instant netflix and fell in love. The first episode alone is epic; they try to bribe grade schoolers for their urine so they can pass a drug test at work. So wrong, so funny...I highly recommend.

me from yesterday:

I know I promised to tell the story of how I broke my toe. It's really not that dramatic, I didn't have bone sticking out through the skin or anything.

I was taking my dog Ghostface (see above) for a 2 mile walk through our neighborhood a few weeks ago. We're about a mile from my house, the sun was in my eyes and I basically jammed my left big toe into a huge concrete slab while walking quickly. It was like I could feel my toe filling with blood. I had to limp the next mile home; which was not fun. It's still bruised and sore. The articles I read online said it would take at least 6 weeks to fully heal.
Anyways, I'll update again soon.

Me naked in MR.
I think I can only handle one episode for today.
The photos of the baby albatross who have slowly died from ingesting plastic are heart-breaking. I look at those photos and almost feel personally responsible when I think of every little piece of plastic that I've thrown away in my life time.

And it's not just a few dead birds. There's whole ecosystems that are affected by pollution; which is what the documentary series really addresses better than I could, so I'm going to stop and just recommend you watch the series.
I need an emotional break from sad documentaries. Last night I watched Homo Toxicus, a French Canadian documentary that talks about the toxins that we encounter every day--things in your toothpaste, food, water, soda, clothes, furnature, etc that are causing disease and mutations in humans and animals worldwide. Up to 247 toxic substances have been found in new-borns. Essentially, we are bequeathing our toxic load to our children along with our DNA!
Also, I broke my big toe a week ago, so I can't go running. Not a happy camper.
I'll save the ridiculous toe-breaking story for another blog.
And I promise the next blog will be sunshine and boobs.

And the toe story if you really want to hear it.

Unfortunately, it's been a rough start. I spent most of my New Years Day morning on the phone with my bank.

2011 was pretty good to me.
-First of all, I became a SG!!
I remember being really young and watching the Suicide Girls episode of the Real Sex documentary series on HBO. At the time, I was so interested and impressed with these confident, unique, beautiful women who had tattoos and interesting hair and piercings. I was kind of nervous at first about the whole being-naked-on-the-internet-thing. But I love being an SG! It's like having hundreds of sisters all over the world. Thanks so much SG for helping me turn pink!
-I got engaged to the love of my life. We'll be getting married in Wisconsin sometime in September of 2012. I got Matt his wedding band for Christmas and he already wears it.

-For me, 2011 was also the year of Walking Dead. I LOVE this show...if you love zombies, i highly recommend....

Christmas and New Years Eve were both really quiet for me this year. I got a lot of amazing presents from my husband-to-be. Lots of panties, bras, and a new Space Case. For NYE, we went out to a fancy restaurant by ourselves. I guess we both just weren't feeling the bar scene this year, so we went home and played video games and drank wine. I couldn't ask for a better holiday season.
The last photographic evidence of 2011...

I'd still really love to see this set from 2011 get up on FP. 666!!!

Resolutions for 2012?
1. Drink less diet coke, drink more water.
2. Make more art.
What are yours?
Later kittens!
