I have a ton of photos for you. I just returned from a really nice long vacation in Wisconsin.
I'm sure you are thinking, "Who goes on vacation in Wisconsin?"
I was born and raised there, so it was like a friend and family reunion. Plus Matt has a ton of clients in Eau Claire, WI, so he did a guest spot at a local tattoo shop. (You can check out his tattoo portfolio on his facebook page. He has done most of my work; he's amazing.)
The puppy did NOT want me to leave.

I left him and his brother in good hands, one of my girlfriends stayed at my place and dog-sat all week; god forbid my dogs be uncomfortable!
In August, Wisconsin is very hot and humid and lush. It's the only month of the year that you can depend on to NOT snow. I've seen enough snow for the rest of my life, so August is my favorite time to visit.

I went exploring in my favorite antiques store. It's in downtown Eau Claire. It is 3 stories tall in a really old creepy building that is packed to the gills with old photos, jewelry, clothes, photos, household items, and anything you can imagine. I should have taken more pictures there, but I get so into looking through the random old stuff. I found a human skeleton for sale, hidden behind a bunch of stuff on the 3rd floor. The big weird in me says: WANT!! Here is the skeleton and other random things I got photos of:

My mom and I walked around my old college campus. So many memories! I always found school to be really easy and didn't need to study too much to pass my courses. I partied a lot in college; I've really calmed down a lot since then.

People in Eau Claire are so conservative, I bet they shit themselves when they first saw this.

I got to spend some quality time with my boyfriend Matt. We took more than a few "smoke breaks" if you know what I mean...

The most exciting aspect of this vacation: I got engaged!!! Matt took me to a park and we were swinging on the swing set and he pulled out a big diamond and popped the question. I've been on cloud 9 since. I'm a little scared to start wedding planning because I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. Ladies, if you have any good wedding advice for me, I'll take it!

We did a lot of celebrating afterwords, too much if you ask me.

So finally, we said good bye to everyone and headed home. I hate flying, I always get sick from the recycled air on the planes. As I type, my throat is killing me and my nose is all stuffy. I haven't been sick in forever; the plane is totally to blame. It is only day 2 of sickness and I am already super annoyed with cough drops.
Me and Matt's parent's doggie Jack:

I will say that the Dallas-Fort Worth airport is AMAZING. They have a spa in terminal A; I got a massage and manicure during our layover...hell yeah!!
It is so good to be home in LA. Nothing makes you appreciate LA like going to other places; I truly love this place.
Later loves!!
