christmas with my family is always fun, but this year it ruled. i'm not sure what it is. i was really sad when i came home last year. i'd just split up with my ex and hadn't really eaten in a month or so. air canada lost my luggage again and i felt like i was floating above my life like in a dream just watching it all fall apart. and although coming home helped and i got to be with some of my favourite people in the world it took months for me to get back to almost normal. i feel like this year i came off the plane with a huge smile and not a sad thought. i had a beautiful christmas with roach and josh and just feel so fucking lucky to be alive and laughing. i hope everyone had a nice holiday, however you spent it. i'm gonna walk to tim hortons and get a bagle.
well my loves... i'm back in canadaland at the homestead. theres like 5ft of snow here, its insane! i love it. SFO was crazyness sunday night and my flight got all screwy so united bought me a first class ticket from air canada to tornto for monday morning. so i stayed at a hotel, walked around naked, ordered room service and watched 'saved by the bell'. not a bad deal! considering the last 3 years united and air canada combined efforts to make travelling home the most challening thing ever, im rather impressed with them both right now. its nice to be home again so soon. i cooked a vegan dinner for my mom last night and we split a bottle of red and totally bonded more then we have in a long time. not much is new in my oakland world. josh and roach still live with me and are still the greatest roomies ever. we had 'our christmas' the night before i left. i made a tofurky and isrealie couscous with spinach and brussel sprouts and some other stuff i cant remember. yes folks you heard it here, roach suicide eats food other then cheeseburgers and cookies. sometimes. i totally miss being online. ill fix my mac one day. i feel like ive completely lost touch with some of my favourite friends and i feel like shit for it. but for what its worth im loving life and pretty happy. back to who i was before the really ugly stuff.

all i can listen to lately is cuban or french music. or weezer. weird right? i'm back to red... kinda. red/orange/black. i can't stray for long. the seal pup comes home tomorrow night and roach and i are stoked. my recent travellers left last night and its totally weird to just have roach in the house with me. we tried to clean but that just lead to starvation an having to go sit for a few hours and drink sangria and eat mexican food. i wish i could be online more. bummer my macbook is still dead. anyway i'm gonna go do roach's hair. yay!
today is our one year anniversary!!! roach has lived on misfit island (formerly awesometown) for a whole year. so rad. lots of other things are new... roach and i have a cute roommate, his name is josh and he sings and dances for us and reaches stuff i can't. he also is the bentley's best friend. he pierces at galaxxy in berkeley and does some pretty awesome work (just so you know). my divorce will be final april 10th. i've gone vegan and looooooove it. i dunno what else. i'm at work right now about to go celebrate my friend gretchen's birthday. it smells like fall and i love it. ok sg i still <3 you!
well roach and I are hanging out in an emergency room in Berkeley due to my intolerable back pain. this is the worst its ever been! I'm talking not being able to roll myself over in bed without feeling dick over the pain. but at least I've got my best bud with me. I'm one lucky kitten to be loved like I am. love is sitting in an ER waiting room for 5 hours.
roach and i are in canada at my folks house. it's beautiful here and i'm happy to be home for thanksgiving. i'm gonna aim for one visit per season because going for a year without seeing my lovely canadians is just not working anymore. we should be showering and seizing the day. instead we are listening to weezer, looking at lolcats and eating vegan pancakes my dad made us. fuck it we ought to move here and live in my parents house. shit yeah!

working lots. divorcing. laughing. living. you know, the usual. roach and i are going on a canada trip soon. SO EXCITED. not too much else to report. except my foot is all broken and that sucks but i'm still walking on it. me=tough. i'm only interneting cause tuffy went to go get beer since i have no id due to getting robbed again. fuckin' oakland! what's shakin' with everyone around here?
