The best trick I've had in the saving money game...Is that I made a laminated card that I keep in my wallet... it reads

"Do you need this?"

This thing stares back at me each time I have to buy something...

It's helped me cut down frivolous spending, spur of the moment CD or DVD binges, keeps me from eating at restaurants and opting for more cost effective means of aquiring food, and also reminds me to buy store brand stuff instead of the expensive name brand stuff...

The most important thing is to keep your will strong! Stay focused on the move! Eye on the Prize! You can do it! GO!

Money is easy, people are giving when it is something they can relate to needing. Throw out sympathy and need intermxed together. You are a female with a cute face which helps as well.
