i've been slipping on the vegan thing here and there lately. mostly just in the past month. eating things with casein or some other dairy products. it kinda makes me feel like garbage. like i'm so bad with sticking to something i can't even control my diet. it's no secret i'm a sucker for the drink and we have been doing that a lot at casa de awesome lately. i'm finding more and more that it's not fun. there a few serious things going on in my life right now and where we will all start out having fun i will almost aways end up sad or angry over something. this april is giving me a few exceptional fresh starts. i will finally be divorced. and where that is bringing a lot of strange feelings and different difficult emotions and thoughts into my head, i cannot wait to be done with it. i feel bad because i think some of my recent actions and over reactions stem from this. i'm hoping once it's finally done i can breathe my sigh of relief and step into my new world of awesome.
in other april news, i will be turning 25 on the 22nd (earth day for the hippies...) my longtime friend and chosen extended family member, gnooshie, will be flying out from florida to help me celebrate. i'm not sure what we are going to do. i'm a fan of beaches and deserts and huge lookouts and i think thats the direction i'm gonna go. there is a meteor shower the night of the dreaded 25th so maybe something magical will happen.
april also brings other visitors. nicoletta and her man and, fingers crossed, miss.snow will be staying in my teeny tiny home for a few days. i'm over the moon excited to meet this lady and super stoked to see snow again. it has been years! besides the fact that i'm in debt and broke like a joke life is still pretty zazzy. hopefully i can pull some magic out of my ass and everyone i encounter enjoys themselves.
