i had an idea that dreads were a little high maintnance - not this much
tips unravel
they come loose all together
i told austin at the bar last night that having dreads what going to give me self control , because im not allowed to cut them off or comb them out
its ok
with this in mind i may as well make them the best fucking dreads ever

okay, this is the dork inside of me speaking...ever since i read your name, which i love, i've had these imaginings of you doing a set as harley quin, be it the one in the picasso paintings or the joker's girlfriend in the batman comics (please see batman fan for info on what the heck i'm talking about)...

dreads are very hard to keep looking nice, and painful. My little trick was just every time I was sitting and watching tv or something to rub them in circles against my scalp, helps them tangle at the root, also wax, be generous with the wax.
I had to cut mine off when I lived in Arizona, the heat from it was just too hard to take. *sigh*

yeah my b/f gets really sick of his dreads from time to time, mainly because he let them go for like a year without maintaining them and there's a lot of stray hairs. thin hair SUCKS for dreads.
