I am kinda in the same boat lately.
I guess my logic is,
Everybody has crap you have to put-up with.
And I'm just too lazy to get-to-know some new crap.
At least I'm sure I can deal with this one, so I'll just stay right here.

My advice to you would be to not make amends. Don't let that geezer inflict any more psychological turmoil on you. I've had similar things from people in the past, and as soon as I realised that they were messing with my head, I gave them the elbow and kept them away for good. You have to do it for your own sanity.

I can understand that, because you love him, in some ways you can't help but go back, just try not to leave yourself at his mercy again. Sounds a little like he isn't particularly worthy of you anyway.

1. yeah, i was tripping once and thought that Chelsea was indeed the wisest creature on earth, that knew the secret to life. Chelsea is around 18 years old in earth years.
2. make amends/don't, your call. alls i know is that it's taken me a long time to get over someone who inflicted a year's worth psychological damage on me that felt more like 1,000 years, nothing but trouble. the only plus i got from it was that it made me stronger and wiser. so be wise, but please don't waste anymore time, life is short.

Had a situation once that was maybe kind of like that. Maybe in hindsight the reconcliation was just to have the back-stabby way it ended not be "the end". Not sure if that makes sense or not. I knew I wasn't going to end up with her, but as long as you know what you want you can keep people as close or as far as you want. Not sure if that's the boat you're in or not. Best of all, you're young. Nothing is really a mistake yet. Good luck and be good to yourself.
