Hey you guyyyyys!
I'm doing better, I guess. Mostly because I have so much things going on lately!

So I finally got a job as a photographer in a studio. Not super well paid, not really exciting, but fuck, at least it's official photographer work, you know, declared stuff and all. But I'm still keeping my bakery job as well, so this makes 2 part-time jobs, making me work 6 days a week on several weeks. But hey! I had a 6 months vacation, all expenses paid by Mr. Pumpkin, so I can handle it for now.

Also proud to announce I was elected as a member of the board of directors in my coop! I'm glad to know I'll be more involved in the whole process, but it also means I've got a lot more responsibilities.

I also got some photo jobs I need to finish, as I haven't worked on anything for at least a month and a half. Things have been a little complicated at home. Hopefully the worst is behind me. I've got some other projects for the summer too.

Now, for some news you'll actually care about: you're gonna see more of me very soon! I finally decided to model again. And even after more than a year, Shazzy and I still make a great team. And this time, dear Lise did my makeup. It was about time, since she always does the makeup in my shoots. What can I say, I don't model very often now, and mostly, I don't wear a lot of makeup. But she did a nice job. You can see for yourself!

Also, be aware: I couldn't stand it anymore, I cut my hair short again! Everyone was asking me when I would do it, and I couldn't stand having a broom on my head any longer. Pics to come, when the color's gonna be done.

Tomorrow, I'm going to one awesome party. It's been a fucking while since I've been in an actual rave, in a warehouse, with GOOD music and a ton of people, especially freaks and candy teenagers who still have fresh brains to waste... and I'll get in for free, cause my best friend's organizing, and my boyfriend's playing. Also, he made the coolest flyer ever (for a rave). Go get some info on the party if you want to cross paths and see me dance my ass off.


Finally, I tried my first experience at space cooking... and it was great. Had I a shit load of money to waste, that is how I would CONSTANTLY consume my reefer. I made some raspberry mudcake, and some choco-banana muffins... delightful! And so smooooooth.... I loved it and wanna do it again and again! Did you ever do it? Did you like it? How did you bake it? I want some fresh ideas for recipes!

Hey, go write a good word to Lise! She did a great modeling job on her latest set. And I probably didn't do a bad job either.


I invite you to go see both sets, Voyeur 'part 1' and Voyeur 'part 2', as they are not double posted but separated. The real 'first' image is in part 1 and then the second is in part 2 and back to 1... I don't exactly know what happened, but it wasn't voluntary! It was put in reversed order, but I see that just this minute they changed the order back. It makes a little more sense like this...

Anyways, I'll probably be shooting a bit in the next couple of weeks, I'm looking forward to it. I won't tell with who, it would ruin the fun..

Also, I really got super close to getting a cool job, I even was in the last choice, but I didn't get a call back so I guess they passed out.. that's too bad, I thought it was about time I started making money. But I'm not too sad, I will make a little money these next few days... and I gain more and more confidence in my work, and I have better material with time... it's just a matter of not letting go.

It'll be my boyfriend's birthday friday, and he's off for a week... Hurray!

So I'm still out of job.

I was about to get a really lame job, but my boyfriend gave me permission of another month of trying to search for something better, or to practice on eventually being a paid photographer... I'm a lucky bitch to have that kind of support.

Also, during December my ex-employers called me back to see if I could help them through the Christmas rush. I was so satisfied to refuse... I've been told it was total chaos without me.

Aside from that, things aren't too bad, I've shot a couple of nice things recently. One of them was at the Igloofest. For those who were in Montreal at that time and didn't go, you definitely missed out on something! I've been on the two last saturdays. It was fucking crowded, and there was some good loud electronics. It satisfied my urges to dance.





And believe me, it was freaking cold. But it was actually really good to see that even with that cold, a ton of people showed up, danced and had a lot of fun. The atmosphere was great. It's nice to know that we're still trying to do stuff during winter, and not just complain about the cold.






That's basically what's new. Also, I'm still willing to shoot around. Since I don't get real contracts yet, I better shoot cool things to add up to my portfolio, so people will actually want to write me back when I send them samples of my work... so if you have an idea or want to volunteer, feel free to come to me.
