i really am super excited about my ganguro idea. my pictures caught scott's attention and he said he wanted to shoot it .. i proposed my extensive idea and he's all for it. absolutely fucking amazing.

seriously, guys. this shit's going to blow all the other sets out of the water. i promise. ^_^

unfortunately though .. he just submitted one of our sets we shot last month a few days ago .. so i won't be able to submit ganguro girl until july (gotta wait three months between sets to be fair) .. but it's well worth the wait. ^_^

yayyy!! perfected my ganguro makeup. ^_^ only thing i need before i start shooting it for real is a long bleach blonde wig, large fake hibiscus flowers for me to tie in it .. and a little more for my wardrobe. ^_^

haha .. this shit makes me so happy ..


gotta love my creative use of scrapbooking supplies. didn't have stickers for my face like they use .. so used little things i bought last time i went supply shopping .. and like i said .. i need hibiscuses .. so in the meantime .. just tucked in some scrapbooking paper flowers. ^_^

so .. i've come to the conclusion that i really need to move to japan. i'd fit in so well there. there's nowhere for me here =( haha. i just love everything about japanese culture, fashion, everything.

so .. i've currently found myself obsessed with ganguro girls. sure .. about ten years too late .. but i don't care. i've come up with an absolutely AWESOME, and extremely time consuming (gonna take up a whoooole lot of photoshopping skills) idea for a set that i'm gonna self-shoot. it's absolutely genius. i can't tell you guys though. too many theives around this here internet thing. ;-) i told dave my idea last night and he's like, "yeahhh!!! that's awesome!!! .. gonna take a whooole lot of dedication though". ^_^ i'm SO dedicated. =P all i'll tell you guys, is that it'll involve me as a ganguro girl .. makeup .. bleach blonde hair .. i already have a really nice tan (unfortunately .. my webcam washes me out like crazy) .. but i'll go even tanner. i am SOOO excited about it.

so i already got all the makeup i need for it .. and i have tomorrow off, so i was planning on using tomorrow to work on my ganguro makeup .. take lots of pictures of it .. just a little test run to make sure i can actually pull it off. =P

i'm really impatient though. so .. i didn't do the full thing (didn't make my face tanner (it already is .. like i said .. webcam =( ) etc). just wanted to experiment with my eyes. the official version will have crazy full eyelashes .. and a little neater. so .. here's me have ganguro right now. ^_^ makes me happy.



call me a freak .. but i'm loving it. haha. it's fun. like i said, i plan on doing my face completely tomorrow and i'm going to take pictures with a real camera (not the webcam) and they'll be a lot better. i'll be back with those, then. ^_^

oh yeah .. i'm proud of my awesome photo idea. everyone else was taking corny ones .. thumbs up, smiling next to the shark head. we had the best jaws picture. ^_^ was funny how the rest of the line started copying us. i'm such a trendsetter.


we had a blast. can't wait for next year's big vacation. i'm thinking i wanna take him to one of my dream destinations for a week .. st. lucia. ^_^ gotta start planning!

sitting around in a hotel room. just got back from a bike shop doing a shoot for carolina riders. was super fun. should hopefully have some shots to post when i get home (i'm 3 1/2 hours from home). we're back here at a hotel room he got to do some shots with a green screen. should be interested. he had to run next door to buy tape for the screen though so .. i'm bored .. (yes .. i travel with the laptop in case of times like this ..) ..
