the photoshoot went really well yesterday. i was dead tired by the end of the day though. i crashed at around 9:30pm. i would like to upload some of the photos but the upload a pic area isn't working.
the photoshoot was for my friend shay. she's a photography major and this was her minor assignment for her 4th year. well it's the first part, we're projecting the images onto my body and shoot those next. we shot with film but we also wanted digital versions so we could see them right away. i'm pretty happy with how they turned out. if anyone wants to see some of the digital shots, they are here:

some people are rather strange though. we were inside an old building that's been converted into office space and these guys kept coming in and out and watching us. finally they spoke up and asked what we were shooting for and then asked if they could watch? shouldn't they have been working?!

i am so sleepy.
today is a photoshoot day so i've had to wake up far too early for my own good. it took me so long to get to sleep last night that now i imagine i have horried dark circles under my eyes. i have to be downtown in about 1 hour which means i must leave my place in 30 minutes. time to suck back a coffee.
i guess in the meantime i will tell you all a bit about myself. i'm a girl, if you couldn't tell. i'm a textbook gemini. i live in a townhouse and i have 3 cats. people warn me that crazy cat lady could in fact become my name. i disagree though, i mean i haven't gotten any paraphenalia of my cats made yet, nor do i have a website devoted to them, so i think i'm doing alright.
i haven't got a job. recently i lost it. because i like to be late apparently. it was sort of sad, but at the same time i sort of wanted it. that was my part time three day a week job. i had three when i lost it, so now i have two. at the moment i do freelance event photography and a lot of photo editing for a media company. i also do some web design on the side.
damn. i need to go put some pants on.

i am quite the impatient girl so i had my friend gardimus purchase an account for me given my lack of a credit card. you see, i have a set awaiting processing in the house of the suicide girls. i have been waiting for wee while to gain access to the site and today i decided that i would not wait any longer. this site is great and they deserve my money so an account was made and here i am! i do hope that my set was indeed accepted and that i enter limbo status in the near future.
i am very excited about actually being able to log in and post on the boards, not to mention keep a journal.
i must browse around now since i created and wrote this entry immediately after logging in.
