I met some work related ladies over the weekend in New York that said to me "Aren't you a Suicide Girl?". I told them yes, and they all squealed and wanted to give me high fives. Afterwards, the ones that weren't entirely sure what it was asked, "What's SG about? What's your mission statement?"

This is something I no longer know. I've been a huge supporter of Suicide Girls for four years now. I know well about the drama that has ensued over the course of the past few years. I have been by no means following the blind. But now comes a time when I don't know what it means to be a Suicide Girl.

When I think about it, I see my so-called close friends going out of their way to lie to me about a stupid DVD to spread their marketing story. When one asks "How was it?", the last thing I need is someone I trust telling me an epic lie about something that didn't even happen just to further their DVD sales. And worse, having them call us all cunts for questioning and being genuinely concerned for their well being.

Then there's the subpar sets that go live on the site now all weekend long. Standards have been raised and we strive for sets that fit these standards, however with only 5 opportunities for existing girls to have those sets to go live, with 1500+, it's pretty futile. We're told to just use the backdoor. Just go out and shoot a sub standard set and submit that through SCS! It's easy! Right, so we can give the site free content, and never be able to delete our set. Just to maybe go live on the front page. What's going to happen in the long run as more and more new girls keep getting accepting?

Lastly, and most importantly, SG accepted and put up on a Monday, the highest traffic day, a Nazi loving girl's set glamorizing drugging and raping little girls. A huge amount of girls are offended, hurt, begging for something to be done, and there's been nothing. Why not? To keep the controversy going and generate more traffic to the site? SG is supposed to protect us and this is directly putting us in harm's way. With triggers, with disgusting member comments, and it is still live on the site like there's nothing wrong with it. It's appalling and I have never been more ashamed to be here. I'm so sad over this. It's completely degrading for that set to be on this site. This site is supposed to be about positive female imagery. RAPE IS NOT THAT! RAPE IS NOT SEXY!

I would rather see countless up close explicit vagina images on SG than see a "Suicide Girl" wake up with her panties around her ankles after being drugged, carried off and raped.

It just doesn't make sense. How can you just sit back and do nothing about a set like this? This is not what I signed up for. This is not what I've taken shit for and continued to support.

After the ease and success of selling a custom print to a member that messaged me, I've decided to sell prints! The duration of time, I'm unsure of, however! I am selling prints from all my sets since Coup d'Etat except for Rude Awakening, as it is not a high res set. Since this is all custom print jobs, you can choose which images you'd like, though I ask that you use a little common sense and not request anything explicit. I'm offering 4 sizes.
5x7 at $20, 8 x 12 at $30. 16 x 20 at $55 and a ginormous 20x30 poster at $75.
All proceeds go to the Help Posh Visit Her Family In Canada For The First Time In 3 Years Fund.
If you are interested, please send me a message with your requests. smile

Moving on! Tomorrow I leave for New York! For two nights only! I'm not going to lie, I want to be a super tourist. Visions from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York keep flashing through my mind. And the Macy's Thanksgiving parades from years gone by. I used to stay home from school on those days (Canada). Anyway, where's a girl supposed to go? Times Square? Central Park? That toy store in Home Alone 2? And I should mention I'm a little afraid to leave the vicinity of my hotel in Manhattan.

Last Saturday, Scopitone and I went to the SGLA Halo 3 party at Casa Del Fuego. Whom I should say is pretty fantastic and hospitable. Playing Halo with friends is so ridiculously better than with randoms. I kind of only want to play with friends now. Especially after getting harassed while playing last Friday. That said, is there an SG Halo night yet? I suggest Tuesdays. For really no reason. I guess I developed a method of working with my lack of skill and aiming abilities. I just run at people hoping it freaks them out a little bit, and then melee them to death. Great fun for me.

Beautiful Katamari comes out on MONDAY!! I'm so excited for rolling achievements. Oh man!

Check out these awesome boots I just got on eBay. I love them SO much. They're so futurego.

Monday was the most important day of my life. So far at least. In a few years, I'm sure it'll be different but Monday was of great importance. No, it wasn't because Halo 3 came out at Midnight, though I really would have loved to have had it then.. Monday was important because it was the day I became an official Permanent Resident of the United States. This massive load of stress that's been hovering around me for two years evaporated in an instant. Everything went so smoothly that I almost feel silly for worrying so much. I'll admit it was a little anti-climatic. But I'm sure as soon as my Welcome to America letters arrives, as well as my official permanent resident card, that'll change. Yay! No more immigration! I can leave the country and get back in! No more fears of Agents arriving at my door and trying to deport me! Hurray!

So the next afternoon I got Halo 3, played from like 4 until 11 and got through most of the campaign. I think I have two missiosn left to play through. Did a little multiplayer but I am sooo terrible! And I am completely embarrassed that everyone can easily look up my stats. I'm sorry I kill so many friendlies! I've always been bad at Halo games though. So much that I stop playing them. I really need to work on my aiming. As far as missions go though, the Covenant mission has been my favorite solely because we get to fly Hornets. I loved fighting in the sky. Sad it's almost done though and that I've only played it twice since I got it.

Work is still awesome. I'm really excited to go to New York. I only wish it was for longer than 1 night! I kind of want to leave from NY and go north up to Toronto and visit my family for Canadian Thanksgiving, and then back to SoCal on Sunday. I haven't been home in 3 years. Totally ridiculous. But it's a matter of affording it.

I got a haircut and my nails did. Here are some photobooth photos of it:

I keep trying to update this, but then I get distracted and forget. I'm so ridiculously busy now. Stupid real world! I basically have 2.5 hours a night when I get home, and during that time I've got to cook dinner, and such. Oh except for when I have class, then it's right to bed. Ugh. Where's my 4 hour work week?!

I played a tiny bit of the Call of Duty 4 beta over the weekend, which was all kinds of fun. It was chaotic in a good way, and a nice change from all the tactics based FPSs I've been playing. I guess that really only includes Rainbow 6 though. I only wish it was possible at this time to play splitscreen. Scopitone and I kept having to take turns. I've yet to play any team games, only the free for alls. Man, I want to play now!

What else... I love Blitzen Trapper right now. I'm kind of obsessed with the song Wild Mountain Nation. The album by the same time is all around pretty fun. Some real winners on it.

Shoot em up was hilarious and I loved it. Though what's with Clive Owen and CG babies? It was funny to watch people leave the theater, clearly not getting it. I guess if you went in thinking if was going to be a hardcore action movie, maybe you'd hate it? It was along the same lines as Crank though, which was also as ridiculous and hilarious. Oh, and die hard 4 I guess, but that I don't think that was quite so on purpose.

What else... Might be going to New York in October.. And San Francisco for Halloween! I wanted to head back to Toronto for Canadian Thanksgiving, but it will be too costly, so Scopitone's family has kindly accepted my invitation to celebrate it here. New York is at least work related.

It makes me a little sad when my wishlist shows something as purchased, an awesome book no less, and then it never comes. That's happened a few times, most disappointing was a Warhammer 40k game. Amazon needs to fix that. What if these things just got lost?!

I guess that's all I have time to update on now.... Oh, here's a picture of my ladies man cat. All I need to do is photoshop a cigarette in his mouth.

Eeeeeeee! I joined the real world and got a job at a really fucking cool design firm in Downtown LA. I interviewed last Wednesday, and started on Monday! Everything about it amazing, but most of all is their emphasis on education and growth. I feel like I'm finally actually on a progressive career path. On top of the job, I'm starting a night school class for Environmental Design in a couple weeks. Things are pretty swell! But very busy. Between the day job, and my photoshop work for Sean and Missy, not to mention school starting up a couple nights a week shortly, I have little time for anything. Even SG. I miss refreshing the page every 20 minutes! But I rather spend those precious free minutes with Scopitone.

Did you guys watch Californication this week? I was so amused. And it's probably silly, but it was pretty neat to see my photoshop work on the television.

I need some new DS games for my daily commute! What should I get?

Video time! Don't judge too harshly! Let's say this is just the first part of the Q/A videos. This one was getting a little too long. So keep the questions coming! smile
The second video is totally embarrassing for me. Heh. I can't dance at all! But just because you guys asked, there it is. Eeeek!

Oh and cocoabutter, got your request in there as well. wink

I noticed a lot of girls are doing Q/A videos, and I want to jump on that bandwagon! Ask me a question or two and I will answer you in live action format! Ask me anything or ask me to do something, I'll even dance for you. tongue

I wish that SG had an autosave journal thing as I just wrote out my BlizzCon and ComicCon thoughts but accidentally clicked one of the tabs and lost it all. Sadness.

Anyway, BlizzCon was amazing. Finally got my Warlock shirt from Jinx! I wanted the horde one as well, but didn't bother. I played a quick 15 minute Terran mission of Starcraft 2. After watching the live demo, I was fully excited and needed to play. The game play had me so excited that I installed Starcraft immediately upon returning home. Wrath of the Lich King was also a whole lot of excitement, but I feel like I didn't make good use of my time. The first time, we spent way too long doing talents, training and setting the UI since it's all bare when you log in. That left us with 10 or so minutes for exploration. The second time was a little better, since we just mounted up and ran. I wanted to see the snow, but had no luck. Rode passed huge Viking and buffalo. Took a little to see whales. Wasted time in the Catacombs. But hey, it was the new Howling Fjords! Having been to the art panels, I am really looking forward to the new environments. The Grizzly Hills look a lot like Canada. I think the art panels were my favorite part of the whole Con, both the Starcraft and Warcraft panel. It was especially interesting when they went over their whole texturing process, including the software they use for painting. I want to play with it oh so badly. Those panels are greatly motivational.

I'm still a little unsure about the Death Knights. Huzzah to a new class, of course, but the implementation as described is what I'm not so sure about. I envisioned Hero classes to be more exclusive to particular classes, not open to every class. On top of that, I thought you would have been able to combine your existing class choice (talents, etc) with the new Death Knight spells and talents for a more unique experience. I didn't expect it to be a quest of sorts that unlocks the new class on your character sheet. I just hope they introduce more Hero classes with this next expansion. I want to be a Necromancer, damnit! I've got no interest in playing a melee class. Though that army of the dead summoning spell is pretty neat.

I'm watching Perfume and I have to say I am in love with how this film was shot. The lighting, the color, it all makes me happy. As it is coming to an end, I've got to add I love this movie so much.

From Comic-Con. Exterminate!

My kitten keeps getting boners. And then proceeds to... well, do things that one should do in private. The first time it happened was a couple days ago. I was innocently eating very delicious home made lasagna when I glanced down at Ziggy who was sitting beside me. I thought he was just cleaning himself. Alas, there he was, legs spread licking something ... something pink... Needless to say, he's having his surgery very soon. Hopefully that will cut down on his masturbating?

I really don't know how to segue from that.

So that new Stars album is pretty good! d20 in his usual awesomeness hooked me up with the early release album. Sure, it's still the usual Stars but I am totally fine with that. My Favourite Book and Window Bird jumped out at me immediately. As did Barricade but just because it was so unexpected. That's one song that differs from their usual glossy, poppy, happy sound. I also got the remix album of Set Yourself on Fire and the Apostle of Hustle version of One More Night is fantastic.

Maybe I'll insist that Scopitone play my iPod on the way down to ... COMIC-CON! Friday friday friday! See y'all there!

Who's going to Comic-Con?! Which days? Myself, I believe I'll just be there for one day, though Friday or Saturday I can't be sure. If you see me, make sure you stop and say hello! Eeeeeeeee!!

Got my 360 back from being repaired! They decided to just send a new one. Unfortunately though, my Live account is not active at the moment due to lack of funds. frown

I started writing a weekly column for the Newswire. Please check out the Leaked Conundrum and the the Ivy Overfloweth.

Haha! I just came upon this photo while going through old blog entries. It's from 2005 when a bunch of us were working the Magic Convention in Vegas.

And then there's this. An illustrated crying baby I tried to do, but it went horribly wrong.

Thanks for all the positive comments on the G4 Clip!

I'm feeling really tired lately. A couple weeks ago I was diagnosed with this inconvenient autoimmune disease of sorts. The medication they gave me worked for a couple weeks, and then stopped. They reran the initial tests and the results were worse than the first time so they had to up my dosage a couple weeks ago, but it still hasn't kicked in. It is so inconvenient. I literally have zero energy. I want to nap all the time. My hands and legs have been achy, which is a lovely extra symptom, as is weight gain, wee. I just cannot wait for this new dosage to kick in. Last time, it was amazing. I couldn't remember the last time I felt so great. I went into turbo 50's housewife mode, cooking and cleaning. No more depression.. Hurry up, stupid pills! I should say it's nothing serious! Just inconvenient.

I miss my 360 so much. It's been out for repair for over two weeks now. Those bastards. The customer support folks insist it shouldn't take more than 3 days for repair, alas, they've had it for around 10 days now. But hopefull this means they are actually fixing it this time! Watching Die Hard, and seeing all the Gears of War has made me really want to play it. At least briefly. Instead, I'm stuck with the Wii. Not so bad. I rented Super Paper Mario from Gamefly, and it's been pretty amusing. I like flipping from 2d to 3d. I've only played through one chapter though. Boo to little time!

If I had more time, I'd be playing more WoW, damnit. My Warlock is progressing sooooo slowly. It's sad! Transfers to Antonidas just opened so now all my characters are over there. My lonely 60s from Dark Iron now live there, in PvE kindness. Yay! Except I'm not allowed to play them until the Warlock gets to 70. So the other day I was over on ebay bidding on the King Mukla loot card, got outbid, and then had the fella that outbid me message me! Three cheers for AnalogPussy and his awesomeness... And for Bananas! Thank you again SO much.

Hope you guys are going to BlizzCon August 3rd and 4th! I'm psyched! The last one was so much fun. Much debauchery. And I certainly cannot wait for the all announcements.. hopefully they'll give out some details on the next expansion! So it'd be fun to meet up with whoever is going.

Well, that's all for now! Keep your fingers crossed for me on more G4 fun stuff pleeeease! smile
