Yesterday I was invited to speak on a panel for the first time. It's called The Road to Development: Women Leading the Charge, and it's about women developers, how we got to where we are and what our experiences have been like. I'm incredibly excited, as this is one of the main things I'd like to do in my career in tech. I want to inspire girls to go into this profession, and this is the first step toward it! I'm super nervous though. I have visions of just throwing up on stage when I go to speak, like in It's Always Sunny when Sweet Dee does her stand up.

My lady, Jaylin, has been in Greece for the past 9 days and I miss her SO much. This trip has been so amazing for her, and I can't wait for her to get back and become my adventuring partner in crime. We're planning a camping trip for the weekend of August 1st. But not just any camping trip...

We're going skydiving!!

I'm SO excited! I think we're doing the 18k ft jump. That's like, 90+ seconds of freefall. I hope I don't pee on the person attached to my back.

Congratulations on the speaking opportunity - very exciting! I'm sure you'll be fine. Hope the skydiving is fun, I got to go with my best friend before I left the west coast and it's one of my favorite memories with him. It was only a little over 60 seconds of freefall, but it was fucking awesome.

HA! So in a weeks time you might have something coming out of every oraphis (sp?) because of nerves?? I'm sure you will do just fine, both in the speaking and the sky diving. Make sure and get pictures of that! (And if you pee) he he

Ahhh sky diving, you're a ballsy lady! You know, some places tape that! You should totally post a video if you can get your hands on one!!
I'm glad to hear you're promoting ladies in the biz, I'm not techy for the life of me but promoting women in all fields, especially yours, is a plus. Don't be nervous! You'll be awesome!!

Hope everything goes well when you have to do your speech Im sure you will do fine as long as you think of everyone else naked

Skydiving sounds pretty intense too, I have never been, I think Id want to see if I could hang glide first before I dive out of a plane lol
