Lately I've become obsessed with pasta. Not eating it, no no. Not even cooking it. Making it from scratch! I think about it daily. I have decided that for Christmas this year, I will make fresh pasta and sauces for some folks from Scopitone and myself. I sometimes think this is an odd gift, but I would love getting homemade pasta! It's far more personal than... socks? candles? a yellow checkered sweater? For sauces, I'm going to make an Alfredo with garlic and white wine, and a vodka marinara. As far as the pasta goes, I would like to make a pepper fettucini and some type of ravioli that has yet to be decided. To make it even better, I'm going to make proper labels for everything. Oh, I'm so excited!

So speaking of odd gifts, last week, Scopitone came home with a bag of fake snow, and a box of snow powder. Because I miss and love the snow oh so much! How sweet is that?

We are going to LA tomorrow. Huzzah!

Are many of you playing the new WoW TCG? I have yet to play an actual game. I tried building a frost mage. According to blizzard nerds, I need more resource cards, and better allies. Well! Aren't less awesome allies resource cards anyway? hmmm? I have a couple cold snap cards now, and chromie, and those may be my only memorable cards of the moment.

This ace of cakes show on the Food network is rad. The main guy totally looks like bean.

Lastly, thanks to the anonymous member that purchased the Photoshop CS2 book off of my wishlist. It's been very, very useful, considering I am using photoshop constantly. And another thanks to the member that purchased the vibrator. Good times! <3

Ok!!!! so You want the past maker. It is fun to make, but only in a group of 6 or 8, at a dinner party, drinking wine. If you send it to virgin "fresh" pasta folk they will over cook. So develop a good instruction sheet. We have enjoyed "fresh" made pasta for 15 years.
We enjoy the low carb Dreamfields brand now . Since that brand low carb came out I don't make it fresh much anymore. It does take time and consideration.... alot like dough for bread. If you still want to do it let me know.

Fake Snow = PURE AWESOMENESS.

Had to just stop by and say amazing job on the photoshop work with the new Evette set. Man, I have been waiting for that style to show back up in an SG set for a loooooooong time now (not to say I don't love the crisp and saturated color tones in other sets). Im such an uber geek when it comes to good photography and photoshop/design work. Great job again! And erhm... hell yeah for the Diggnation love. Hope my Geekdrome homies get big like Kev and Alex one day.

JP wink
