Uh Oh, Polio!

Oh man, I just found out that the Flaming Lips are playing an early show next Friday in SD. Free. With the purchase of a race track ticket? Few hours of Comic-Con fun vs. Flaming Lips. Hmm.

This weekend has been awesome. On Thursday, my 60 Druid found her way over the Dark Iron. She's been renamed to Poshya. Ha. Obviously, this weekend was meant for instance upon instance run. Spent both Friday and Saturday up till past 4. We've mainly been running Dire Maul. Did a tribute run, farmed the East wing, and right now we are taking on the West side. Without a Warlock. So that's fun. But the best thing ever is that our old group from the Suicide Squad are back together! Yay scopitone and d20!! Minus a certain psycho, and sadly, a favorite friend, Hethral.

Oh, Oh! And I got new baby Chets from Zappos.com. I love my Globes.

So there's been all sorts of bitching regarding the new 'I loved it!' and 'Not for me' comment buttons. I don't really see what the big deal is. Members being able to click 'Not for Me' cuts down on negativity in the set comments. Is that not a good thing? As far as the I loved it comments go, I like seeing all the anonymous members leaving their opinion. They are the silent majority. It puts things into a new perspective regarding just how many times sets get looked at in a day. At least for me.

Y'all should check out this week's episode of Diggnation. (ep. 54, now available through itunes) I'll say, while obviously I was there while it was being filmed, I was surprised to see myself actually on it. Looking amazingly awkward. I love it. Sorry Linux guys that made the beer if you happen to be reading this. I didn't mean to insult your beer!

Oops! Must edit. Thanks to UK person for sending Super Mario 64 DS over my way! So rad. Except, is there something wrong with how I'm playing? The controls are driving me insane. I find it beyond hard to get used to. I just end up getting pissed off and turning it off.

Thursday through Sunday.

Not sure how long I'm hanging on Sunday. Probably just look for the good deals on the floor and call it at day.

The comics forum decided we're all meeting at the Image booth at 5 on any given day.

You're such a nerd it's so hot. I need a someone who will play DDR with me and not make fun, not cringe when I reach for my DS, and can understand why a 24 inch widescreen monitor is sexy. I need to find a geek girl I can play with.
